Dr. Martin Edward Edep, MD

Saw Dr. Edep 3 times took his advise, had tests done by him, mind you I am not your Text book patient, I am Atypical have a few issues, that are unusual, cardiac, breathing, poor tolerance to medications. I called his office, not to be a pest, but to have the doctor help me put some of the medical pieces together, spoke to his nurse, a real nice lady, she tried to be more help full and concerned then the Doctor was. Doctor Edep told me originally you have to stick to one doctor, and i agreed, he then took tests of his own, then referred me to another doctor for a consult, gave me a medication, of which i was put in the hospital for observation, side effects were worse then the illness, this was a one night stay, released the next day. I had an appointment On Saturday of which Dr . Edep made hours to patients, had to call and cancel because was not sure if i was going to be out of the hospital. I called the office the following week and, asked his nurse if she could ask… Dr. Edep if there was something else i could take for my blood pressure, the Doctor told her it is ok to take a water pill with my blood pressure pill, mind you i was given an appointment a week later to check blood, and to see how the water pill was working. The next thing i now, i get a letter saying you need to find another doctor that my condition requires medical attention, and not to seek my other associates, and that all future appointments have been cancelled. That is really cold. There is a saying, i believe in Med School, there is a code of ethics, dignity, and compassion, i believe none of these was used in this case. I would have respected, that a phone call by the Doctor, instead of a letter explaining why, but to me that is not being respective to the patient.

Dr. Deep listened to me and made the right diagnosis when other doctors were not paying attention. I trust him completely

I was hospitalized 2 times in 6 weeks with Afib. It took Dr Edep almost 2 months to give me medication for this deadly condition! His front desk is awful! Rude, inconsiderate and belligerent! I called for an appointment as Dr Edep said to do when he released me from the hospital . They put me on a waiting list and got back to me 8 days later. The Dr told me to come in and have a nurse help me with installing a heart monitor. I called to give the office a heads up I was coming in for help, as Dr Edep told me “ just pop in you don’t need an appointment “! The front desk screamed at me OH NO, OH NO NOBODY JUST COMES IN! I told them the Dr told me to come and she said ABSOLUTELY NOT! Dr Edep, took weeks to do any tests,or give medication. When I was admitted a few weeks later for Afib again, he had the hospital Drs prescribe Meficine for me.He still hadn’t given me anything and there I was admitted again with the same condition! When I told him I was concerned that Drs I… didn’t know were giving me meds, not him, he got really annoyed! His entire attitude changed and he was very rude! He clearly didn’t like my questioning him & his lack of care on my behalf. He should have given me the medicine and explained what they were as I was his patient! The next day he discharged me and 2 days later I received a letter from Dr Edep. He dismissed me from his practice, canceled my follow up appointment and told me I couldn’t use anyone in his practice either. This is totally against the law. He had to give me 30 days notice and also help me get a new physician. His office wouldn’t fax my records to the new Dr but made me pick up my records. I wasnt going to stay with his incompetent office and this egotistical, MD but it was the day before Thanksgiving and it was impossible to get another cardiologist that quickly! His office, his partners and Dr Edep are disgusting Drs and I wouldn’t recommend them to a dog! Stay away!

I first met Dr. Edep when I was hospitalized with a heart valve problem 14 years ago and have been with him ever since. He has always been very pleasant and on top of everything. I have always seen him every few months and find him very caring and never in a rush.

I have never been so impressed by the time effort and caring of a cardiologist.. I have never been so impressed by the care time and effort of a cardiologist.. Many times on the road when I got no laughs and thought my heart would give out, I have Dr. Edep to thank for being here.

Great bedside manner, caring, VERY smart, good support staff, couldn't ask for a better Dr. Occasionally there is a wait in waiting room, but that is due to emergency cardiac patients that take precedence ! The office tests and procedures run like clockwork .
