Your basically on your own. I had complications-extremely severe complications and pain and when I went to see this 1/2 man he acted frustrated. He seemed like I was bothering him!? Please don't waste time with Martin. He may be retired now. He did my surgery yrs ago but I'm leaving this negative review because I'm in so much pain today I'm stuck in a recliner and angry with this person. IF he would have shown even a ounce of sympathy and regret for his FAILED surgery I probably would not have left a bad review.

Dr M McTighe operated on my son 19811. When he came out to tell my husband and I about the surgery he told us he had 3-4 minutes to spend with us!??! My son was/22 but he was still our baby! This doctor (I use the term loosely) warude,abrupt and unprofessional. I’d love to share my own personal on what I thought about his staring at an attractive young woman walking by but I am NOT unprofessional. I certainly hope this man is no longer practicing. I should have filed a complaint long ago. Thank goodness we have places like this now to warn others. I certainly hope that karma is real.

I was so disappointed I should’ve listened to the reviews within 10 minutes of looking at a 10 month old mri he quickly suggested surgery. No mention of therapy of any kind. He seemed like I was a bother to him. He talked over me when I was asking his advice on which OTC medication was best..Aleve or Tylenol. He said listen if you here for pain meds you in the wrong place! Disappointing don’t waste your time

I really hate to leave a bad comment it is 40 years after my surgery at Good Sam Hospital. Dr Zenni was a sweetheart. He was funny and compassionate. He unfortunately died in a plane crash long ago. Cut to 20 years later 1999 i found out the Harrington rods put in my back from a broken back due to they 1979 car wreck I was in. the rods were broken and was causing me a GREAT deal of pain...I went for three opinions...dr Saul Another dr can’t remember the name...and McTighe was my last visit... By the time I went to McTighe I had pretty much decided against surgery as the two surgeons said that they could not promise that i would not be paralyzed after surgery because scar tissue and nerves had grown around the rods ?? When I went to McTighe and told him what had happened and the incredible pain I had been in...he didn’t believe me ?? He laughed? I still don’t understand why. It’s 2019 and thank goodness I’ve found an orthopedic doctor who said to me before I even told… him what I have went thru the past 20 years...he came into the room and had a look of utter surprise AND compassion...he eventually said he didn’t know how I had made it all this time...He knew I must have suffered with chronic pain for years... don’t blame Zenni McTighe for the rods breaking...I blame McTighe for the lack of compassion AND callous manner I was treated with 20 years ago when I told him I could barely stand up to cook dinner for my then young family... I’m sure he’s a nice man. I dealt mostly with Zenni who was an absolute delight...I was 19 and he was so very loving with me...McTighe was all business...maybe he’s different now... I’ve never complained much about this constant pain. But it’s ruined my life AND my husband and children’s lives... I guess I just wonder how many others had this experience with McTighe? I should have spoken up long ago...if not for myself maybe for others... He’s probably ready to retire anyway..he’s not the only person in the medical field that basically called me a liar...so I’ll shut up now and go leave my rant on their review ?? Plz if you had or have a bad experience with the medical field...post your experience...the www is a wonderful place...maybe in this technology day and age...the medical field will do a better job because it’s not 1979 anymore. We have a voice...

Doctor Mctighe saved my forearm twenty-nine years ago, the hospital that I was at, told me that they had to remove my arm. I was was pulled into a machine where I worked at, causing a compound fracture. My wife contacted Dr Mctighe's office and I was sent to the old Providence Hospital. He put my arm back together thru two surgeries back to back, one was to reattached all muscles and the other was rebuild my the bones by using a plate and pins.Two years later the pins and plate was remove. I have my arm to this day,drove trucks for many years, still fishing and enjoying life thanks to this doctor.

Dr. McTighe wanted to amputate my foot and do a total knee replacement in 99. 2013 and My knee and foot are fine and still intact. Glad I got second opinion.

I've been seeing Dr. McTighe the last few years for arthritis in my knees, had a couple of day surgeries. I have just had total knee replacement, and quite surprised and pleased. I have not had much pain. I have had aches, swelling, etc. but at only one month after surgery, I am walking around the house with a cane, and looks like I will have minimal scarring. I chose McTighe specifically because I liked his manner, after leaving an orthopaedist I disliked who seemed to pay no attention to me. Different people want different bedside manners or personalities from their doctors, but Dr. McTighe has the personality, honesty, and straightforward information that I want in a doctor. And my office visits always on time, staff is quite pleasant, and impressive clinic. I feel like I, a mere grandma, am benefiting from the sports medicine.

had knee surgery--did all therapy----worked hard at it. After 6 Mo. could not get my bend as I should. Each follow up with Dr. I would question why? Dr.would only shrug His shoulders. Never offered reason why. Wondering if I should go to another orthopetic surgeon to see if something can be done to correct this.
