Dr. Martin Joseph Milne, MD

We got to Dr. Milne's office almost an hour before our appointment, and my husband was in the chair for another hour after that. So in addition to our own experience, I had the chance to watch patients come and go. What I saw was a well run office, managed by people who are upbeat and kind. The nursing staff was especially helpful, competent, and sweet to us, as well as to everyone else I saw them interact with. Dr. Milne handled my husband's extensive oral surgery without fanfare, and my husband (who is ferociously phobic of dental work) came through it without any problems at all. He received appropriate pain medication and antibiotics, and Dr. Milne saw him 2 days later as a follow up when my husband developed post-op hiccups (which Dr. Milne correctly diagnosed and "cured" with medication for GERD.) All in all, a very positive experience. Since Dr. Milne is one of the few oral surgeons who takes our dental insurance, we are grateful.

.dr. Milne was completely unacceptable as a dentist. He was very uninterested in my condition and would not listen to anything I said and would not discuss any alternatives. I have cancer and am receiving chemo. He would not discuss pulling a molar of mine which had decayed due to chemo. He said I had to go off chemo even though my oncologist had said it was okay because of the type of chemo I am on. He got very angry and said my dr. was not a surgeon. I said he was and then he said he only did soft tissue and not bone surgery like dr. milne so his opinion didn't count, This kind of ranting went on and on. I would NOT recommend him to anyone!!!!
