Dr. Martina H Wiedau-Pazos, MD

Dr. Martina Wiedau is the worst and most egotistical, incompetent, and ineffective neurologist & medical professional I’ve ever encountered. She not only misdiagnosed a major medical issue, but she had the hubris to gaslight me and tell me with certainty the issue was purely psychological and “all in my head”. Wow! Zero stars. Avoid this doctor at all cost.

staff incorrectly billed and was not at all helpful in handling of my care. doctor is intelligent but provided a traumatizing, failed spinal procedure and i recommend you go to another doctor's office at UCLA based on terrible office and billing experience.

Dr Martina spent quite a bit of time in diagnosing as well as actually listening to my issues. This is what a good and competent Dr should be. Office stuff was efficient and courteous as well. Thanks

You must verify several times that they have the correct insurance on file. I did speak with the staff regarding the issue and hopefully it is finally resolved, however they should do so prior to your visit. As for the doctor, I really saw her for a second opinion, but she really didn't do much or perform any more tests than usual, nor did she listen well. From what I could tell, she was about as concerned over my issue as your mechanic is about your oil change. If you are hoping for any information or differential diagnosis, skip this doctor. She is only going to read what another doctor has written, and charge you to do it. This is partially due to the existence of shared records and the small network of doctors knowing each other. However, for what she did, it really should have been free, because it wasn't more than a handshake. Realistically, you know the doctor may not have a different answer than the last one, but they definitely won't have one if they don't thoroughly… examine you. It isn't personal, but I have have other doctors who couldn't make things better, but I think they did a remarkable job and I would recommend them highly. She is not one of them.

I didn't get enough feed back from her. She spoke in vague terms, if she spoke at all. I had no idea what she was thinking, diagnosing or pursuing. She ordered tests but did not even tell me what they were or why and then when I got the paper from the office to get the tests after my appointment I was completely confused and had no idea why she was ordering the tests she was ordering. Nice lady, I wish she would communicate! Her communication is so lacking that I'm going to another doctor after seeing her three times over several months.

I wouldn't even give her one star, she only deserves ZERO. I was 10 minutes late (yes, I admit it) for a first appointment and she wouldn't see me. I suppose I should be glad, since obviously she cares more about punctuality than medicine. I suppose I should be glad because she is obviously an amateur human being. I would tell anyone not to see this person, she is obviously not a reliable medical doctor.
