Dr. Mary Magdalene Decaro, MD

I have been a patient of Dr. DeCaro since I was a teenager, my care was always very simple, an antibiotic here, and a wellness check there. The first medical problem I had, I put in a phone call to her and she neglected to call me back, I ended up in the ER. I let that go and continued to see her for anything routine. Then the next time I had a some what emergency, the same thing happened. At that point I was done. I would not recommend Dr. DeCaro to anyone.

I absolutely did not like her personality. She may be a good doctor, but she has absolutely no personality and made me feel as if I was a burden. I will not be going back to her.

Any positive comments are clearly not written by actual patients of Dr. DeCaro. I'm sure they are written by Mary herself, or family. She has zero bedside manner and her staff is rude!

on top of being horrible. she want's to charge you $1.00 a page for the first 20 pages of your records. Then the next couple pages are 25 cents. Then anything after 100 pages is 10 cents. REALLY? A DOLLAR A PAGE. LIKE YOU DON'T MAKE ENOUGH MONEY

My experience of Dr. DeCaro has been overwhemingly positive. When I presented her with my health complaints she examined me and asked precise questions that focused her attention on targeting the problem. I found her to be both empathetic and discerning in her diagnosis and treatment. I got the sense that not much gets past this doctor's attention and she clearly has the benefit of a wealth of professional experience available to her. She was particularly exact when it came to my bloodwork. She identified markers that could cause problems down the road and always took the time to encourage me to make the appropriate lifestyle changes. I've found that other General Practitioners will gloss over what she will not! If you want a Dr. that will have your back!... She is that kind of practitioner.In the 10 years I have been seeing her, she has been "spot on" with the treatment of every condition. Some are difficult to treat... diverticulitis for instance. She was clear and direct about what… needed to be done.I have every confidence in Dr. DeCaro and intend to continue to seek her expertise and care as long as she chooses to continue her practice. In short, I encourage anyone looking for a good Family Preactitioer to seek her out. You can't do better.

I can barely even gather the words to describe this woman who calls herself a doctor. Her bedside manner is non-existent and her staff exudes nothing but un-professionalism. I've always felt uncomfortable and embarrassed in her presence. She never took the time to assess my needs and really listen to any problems I may have been having. I finally got the courage to just up and find a different doctor, and I'm so glad I did because I'm very happy with the choice I made. I'm finally treated as a person and not just as a number. I would not recommend Dr. Decaro to anyone.

I am a long term patient. Dr. De Caro has excellent bedside manner. I have never felt rushed. She has even called me herself when labs indicated that additional workup was needed. Her staff is pleasant and always seem to know me when I call, even months , sometimes even a year later.I have referred friends to her and look forward to her managing my care in the future .Nonjudgmental when I delay following up with recommended tests/procedure and at the same time gets across the importance of doing so and does this in a way that does not leave me feeling chastised or bad

I've been Dr. DeCaro's patient for nearly 20 years. She has been "spot-on" in her diagnoses, and the specialists I've seen confirmed what she found in the first place. Her staff is reliable and friendly. I have very high regard for her and her practice.
