Dr. Mary Ellen Pavone, MD

Horrible visits and no communication at all from her. She defects questions and looks at you as though something is wrong if you ask her anything! Refers to nurses to explain important information. It began when I came to see Dr. Pavone in 2013 for IVF. She had a major attitude, horrible bed side manner and made me feel at 38 was too old! Fast forward to 2016, I went back to Northwestern IVF clinic after being diagnosed with breast cancer and decided sonde needed to get chemotherapy to freeze my eggs. Did 2 rounds of IVF, with 3 eggs. Felt like a robot, no explanation, care or compassion from her. People in clinic only have certain times avail to see you abs very quick & short! Nurses at clinic extremely unhappy too! Wished I switched Doctors!! Feel lost my window of opportunity and could’ve had better outcome from not feeling like a number and had individualized more knowledgeable care given! She’s very into herself!! Stay far away!!!!

She missed a polyp and a fibroid in my wife . We went to another gynecologist , he repeated the study and removed both. Dr pavone didn't even have basic communication skills to even come and talk to us after doing a failed procedure . She didn't even look at the ultrasound before the procedure , and just went in with hysteroscopy. Pathetic physician , doesn't think at all .
