Dr. Mary Margaret Jones

I have covid BA.5. Cannot eat or drink because sore throat. Called her office four and half hours ago for a medicine to reduce the pain. Still no response from her office. Still dehyrated. Getting a new doctor!!!!

Not only do you wait hours for scheduled appointment but you have to call office multiple times to get a prescription filled every month.

Great doctor

I saw Dr. Jones for a almost 10 years. In the beginning, she was quite good, but unfortunately her overall performance has slipped in the last few years to the point that I am going to a different doctor now. Appointments are relatively easy to make, but if you choose to visit her - be prepared for a VERY LONG wait. The typical wait time was over 30 minutes, but many times over an hour. I tried making appointments in the early AM and in the PM, but waited every single time. I am not a "sickly" sort and typically only go in for annual check-ups and if I have a major concern. The last 3 times I had appointments and discussed concerns, she seemed confused about what I was saying. One time she called someone else in the room (that I'd never seen before - not even sure if that person was a doctor or just some random person in the waiting room!) to view a lump I had on my body. It made me feel like an experiment. The last visit was the worst. I showed her my concern and she just… appeared to be confused and said things like, "Hmm. I don't know what this could be;" and "I've never seen anything like this before." She then called another doctor (I presume) and asked what they prescribe more often - "X" or "Y". She proceeded to then write me a prescription for the drug that someone told her over the phone for something she didn't even know what it was! I can't possibly be that much of a unique case that every time I go into the doctor's office I stump her. And even if she truly is not certain what the diagnosis is, she should *never* prescribe a drug for it! In my opinion (and on the side of caution/safety), it should have been a referral to an expert over a drug. Other than that, Dr. Jones is quite nice and very talkative.

Have been seeing Dr. Jones for over 6 years, never had a problem with either staff or Dr. Jones. Presriptions called in usually filled same day, any blood work results usually in a few days...have recommended others and they have had no problems.

I hate to say this but I don't think she should be ministering to the sick. My annual physical was a few seconds and she didn't want to touch me. I was in so much pain the next day I had to go to the ER for treatment-right after my complete yearly physical. She did say if I did not feel any better by Monday, to call and make an appointment with the nurse practioner. She did not examine me. On a previous visit I started having chest pains and the only thing she did was to say "I hope you are not having a heart attack in my office. I will alert my staff." I am a heart patient with numerous stents and that was all she could do. If you have serious health problems look for a 'real' doctor.

Dr. Jones was my primary care physician during the course of a clinical drug trial to cure hepatitis c. She'd been my pcp for years. I also considered her a friend. In 24 weeks of an experimental drug trial my glucose levels rose drastically, a clear indication of pancreatic damage. I was uninformed of the trend, not given the option of opting out of the trial and in fact, assured the therapy was going well.Inexplicably, I was declared a Non-responder to the drug trial at the end of the 24 week period and forced from the program. Shortly thereafter, Dr. Jones "discovered" I was a type one, insulin dependent diabetic.When asked directly if pancreatic damage could be the result of high dosages of interferon, Dr jones expressed ignorance. I insisted she look at her PDR at which point, Dr jones expressed surprise at what is essentially common, medical knowledge,Interferon damages and can destroy the pancreas. Medical Iiterature suggests that when damage is indicated, treatment should… cease immediately.Shortly thereafter, Dr. Jones inexplicably and with no explanation terminated our doctor/ client relationship. At best, Dr. Jones is tremendously incompetent. As a result of this incompetence I'm left with a debilitating, expensive, life altering and ultimately fatal disorder.Dr. Margaret Jones of Tucson Arizoa should be avoided at all costs.

Dr Jones is very nice. and great with you. she take her time and listen to you on what is going on.
