Dr. Mary Susan Scanlon, MD

I can't remember how many years I've been a patient of Dr. Scanlon. She is fantastic - thoroughly knowledgeable and professional. Great bedside manner. I've never, ever felt rushed and she won't leave the room until all my questions are answered.

Dr Scanlon is a great doctor. During my telehealth appointment, she was careful to take enough time listening to me and coming up with alternative solutions to my issues. I accidentally missed one telehealth appointment and she was totally understanding. Her office is very accommodating.

Dr Scanlon made me feel heard, at ease and so respectful of my decisions. I would definitely recommend her to my friends and family.

For many years I found Dr. Scanlon to be empathetic and compassionate. She listened and seemed to really care and connect with me as a patient. Unfortunately, I have to say that for the last year or so the appointments seem rushed and impersonal. She seems to go through the motions and is very efficient but I didn't feel cared for as a.person. Her warmth seems to be missing. Also, I have seen one of the NPs several times over the years and she never even bothers to pretend to remember me and always says, "It was nice meeting you" at the end of appts when I have seen her at least 6 times! I used to feel really cared for here but that, unfortunately, has changed. I never thought I'd say this but, instead of feeling invisible, I'll be proactive and look for another practice.
