Dr. Matthew Brandon Beck, MD

I initially met with Dr Back in late December 2023, as I had been experiencing significant L hip pain for several years which was getting more acute. I was aware that Dr Beck recently joined Pinehurst Surgical and specialized in using the anterior hip replacement protocol. At my first meeting I was immediately impressed by Dr Beck, as a person, medical practitioner, and surgeon. He was extremely warm and caring, demonstrated empathy, gave me a thorough examination, and took the time to answer my questions. After careful analysis I decided to have Dr Beck do my hip replacement which was scheduled for January 18th. I was then scheduled for a pre surgery meeting with Dr Beck and his team on January 8th. Everyone on the team was extremely helpful and Dr Beck met with me to walk through the surgery plan in detail and answer any questions I may have had. On the day of surgery, Dr Beck visited me prior to the procedure, to see how I was doing and help prepare me for the surgery. Shortly after… the surgery Dr Beck visited with me in recovery to check my progress and let me know that the surgery had gone well and discussed next steps. I ended up staying in the hospital one night. Dr Beck visited me at 7:30AM the following morning and gave his approval for my discharge. Since then, I had an excellent initial post operative meeting with Dr Back where he checked in on my progress and scheduled my six weeks check in that will take place shortly. In summary, I could not have been more pleased with Dr Beck. He is authentic, highly personable, empathetic, scientific, and provided detailed data driven responses to my questions. In addition, he happens to be a first-class surgeon. We are truly fortunate to have Dr Beck practicing and living in our community.

I've been dealing with drs who made me feel like I was not worthy of seeing them. Dr. Beal was easy to talk with and made me feel he cared about me as a patient.
