Short wait in the office and his staff assessed my ankle break with care. Got an X-ray immediately and Dr Buchanan took time to explain the different parts of the break. Reviewed all exercises with me and follow up. Young woman at check in efficient and kind.

On time through visit. Not rushed.

He is the best orthopedist doctor for foot and ankle. Knowledgeable, caring, and he takes the time to explain the patient what to do, what will be the next steps to follow . We all expect a human touch from the doctor. He fulfills that expectation.

I was able to get a same day emergency appointment with Dr. Buchanan for a debilitating issue with my foot that happens only intermittently. Fortunately, he was able to see me during one of my debilitating episodes. He was able to diagnose my issue and offer solutions previous doctors couldn’t because I could never get in when it was happening. Dr. Buchanan is very pleasant and has an approachable bedside manner. I am very happy to say I will finally be able to have my foot issue fixed thanks to Dr. Buchanan.

Office staff attitude caused much lower rating. The male manager needs a job where he doesn’t talk to patients. Really insufferable person. Trying to get help from the front desk staff is like pulling teeth. They have a very high turnover rate which causes even more confusion and disorganization. Dr. Buchanan runs an hour to an hour and a half late for every appointment due to emergency surgeries in the morning. He made sure to tell me the patient he worked on in the morning was a star high school football player so obviously more important than me. If emergency surgeries were put on his schedule every day then he wouldn’t run late every day to every appointment. Dr. Buchanan is a good doctor but my surgery was not successful and to this day I am still in pain. I do not recommend this practice.

Excellent care and thorough, detailed approach handling patient’s needs and individual circumstances. Would highly recommend Dr. Buchanan and his staff for anyone in need of foot and ancle issues.

Dr Buchanan is an excellent doctor and I highly recommend him. He takes the time to listen carefully to your symptoms and does not make you feel like he is “rushing” through the exam. I like the fact that he prefers to try “non-surgical” solutions first (e.g. physical therapy, injections, etc.) and only recommends surgery as a last resort.

Great doctor with an easy demeanor.

Outstanding physician. Gives his full attention to all concerns and questions. Complete, understandable review of patient condition, treatment options, planned surgery. Pre and post-op instructions very clear. One of the finest doctors it has been my privilege to know. Recommend with no reservations.
