Dr. Matthew Brent Clark, MD

I’ve been to a lot of doctors before I found one I really liked. Doctor Clark is great, he is personable, and professional at the same time. I feel like he really listens and includes me in the care of my babies. He also has an amazing Staff. I’ve called a few times with questions and they always get back to me within the hour. Doctor Clark delivered my 2nd baby a few years ago, and we are just weeks away from welcoming baby 3. He’s been helpful through my high risk pregnancies and I’ll never switch to another OB.

I had to meet with Dr. Clark out of desperation. I thought I had an appointment with a different doctor, but that had gotten canceled, so I had no choice but to meet with Dr. Clark. My original appointment was to discuss hormone options 3 months after having a surgery. I developed some symptoms of a kidney stone, and have seen other doctors at this office who have treated it, so I thought why not ask doctor Clark about it while I am there. Big mistake! Dr. Clark couldn't care less about me or the pain that I was in. So much in fact that he didn't even bother to even run my urine sample that I gave, or review my vitals. He completely profiled me, and based his decisions on what other doctors had done in the past. He took one look at my chart, made his decision about me, and was rude and condescending. I left the appointment in tears, and outraged at how I had been treated. He was even bringing up things from my past medical history that were not relevant to the reason I was there, and… made me feel belittled and stupid. Things which were really none of his business. I have seen a lot of doctors and this is the first time ever that I had felt judged and mislabeled. He doesn't know me or my history, but he made his decision soley based on what doctors had done weeks ago, and not based off the symptoms I was presenting that day. If he had actually run my urine he would have seen signs of an infection and blood in my urine, signs of kidney stone and infection. And if he would have looked at the vitals from that day and not just weeks ago he would have seen my blood pressure extremely high at 156/110. But instead he chose to judge and not help me and based his decision on my visits from the past. With doctors not even in their office, but a different kind of doctor and office completely. This has not sat well with me at all. I may take further steps, but for now just needed to warn people about him, and say to avoid him at all costs. He was cold, uncaring, judgmental, and absolutely profiled me, without ever even looking at the real facts. I have never felt so judged in my life as I did with Dr. Clark. It is more then just not getting the help I needed. As I said before, I left the office in tears because he made me feel so stupid, belittled and judged. A doctor should never make you feel like that. Avoid Dr. Clark at all costs.

A Dr that finally listened and did more than an ultrasound. Surgery was done and found endometriosis that had been causing all my pain for years!
