Dr. Matthew Coulson, MD

I brought my daughter for her annual check up andI had the feeling that the doctor tried to end our visit as fast as possible after he found out that my daughter doesn’t have all the vaccines done and I’m not intending to do the ones she is missing that same day. He said that Memorial Care policy is not to accept kids whose vaccines are not up to date and advised us to find a doctor who will be comfortable with it for next visit. It’s very awkward to see the pediatrician who doesn’t feel comfortable around the healthy child. How does he feel when a sick child comes in? If he has such a fixation on vaccines he should also check if adults who are coming with kids are fully vaccinated. So it was just waist of time to get her weight and height measured, which I could do at home and check all percentiles… most of my questions got very general answers without any explanation. When I mentioned a rash on her back he said that it’s just dryness without even looking , when I asked about stuffed… nose without other symptoms he said to just give antihistamines, not even getting deeper in when it’s happening, how often , offering an allergy test or at least explaining why he thinks there is nothing to worry about.And it’s just couple of them. This doctor made us feel like we are doing something wrong , that he doesn’t like to see us and doesn’t care to help us. Of course I will be looking for a different doctor for my child.

He has been our family pediatrician for years! He has been with our family since he was fresh out of residency. He saw my younger brother now 20 and now with my own children. I chose him based on my mother’s recommendation. And it’s been great over the years.

Dr Coulsdon has always given his upmost time and care to our son over thew last few years and is excellent at his diagnosis

I highly recommend Dr Coulson! He is great with our son and every time not only he answers all my questions patiently, but also provides me with links via app so I can read more about specific things. Every time we see dr Coulson he simply inspires us the confidence every parent needs when seeing their children pediatrician.

Dr. Coulson and his staff are always wonderful and very kind and patient with my son, who is autistic. I’m so grateful!

Great Doctor

Dr. Coulson is the BEST Pediatrician. He's so great with my kids, both newborn and toddler. He takes his time, answers all my questions, and is so gentle, fun, and caring with my kids. I can't recommend him enough. We feel so lucky to have found him.

Mathew Coulson sounds like a perfectly qualified doctor. He just does not strike me as being a very understanding person. He is sort of distant guy who did not put much effort into helping me when I expressed the desire for assistance. Everyone is different however.

Dr. Coulson is an amazing doctor... super thorough and he truly cares about his patients, doesn't rush through appointments, etc. Very easy and pleasant to talk to, and he is obviously very knowledgable and loves what he does.
