Dr. Matthew Thomas Kirby, MD

My experience with Dr. Kirby was horrible! I felt dismissed & hurried through my very first visit. Dr. Kirby barely listen to any issues I was having & did a quick cursory nose, ear & throat check. Dr.Kirby did the minimal possible. I express to him the intense pressure I was having in my face, the constant headaches ,& pain in my ears. He informed me my septum was deviated And then prescribed me Flonase & set me Up for allergy testing. I hadn’t planned To return because the first visit was so Awful BUT then I had intense pressure again and was in need of immediate attention so called luckily was able to make An appointment that same day. Long story short I’ve had 3 visits there and my last visit was unbelievable. Me and Dr. Kirby got into a fierce argument. He was in my face ( WHICH I still had immense Pressure going on ) he became so Upset it got to the point where his hands were literally in my face shaking like He wanted to choke me out ( I am a small slim woman 5’2) No one… with a temper this short should Be allowed to work on an ear nose or throat. With all the money we have to spend to relieve us from Our suffering this treatment is unacceptable ! WE DESERVE BETTER! Go see a Doctor Who truly cares about your pain and helping because I PROMISE you this Doctor doesn’t.

He is dismissive and unhelpful. Would avoid him and the practice period.

Dr Kirby saved my life. He is my superhero. The best ENT I am sure. Besides his competence, the most professional kindly doctor anywhere. I consider myself extremely fortunate to have him as my doctor.

This doctor has a horrible bedside manner. He is not interested in your problems and he doesn't do any follow up work to try and access your problem. I had to wait for over an hour, then he partially listened to my complaints, and he offered no help for my ailments. I would avoid him like the plague.

I recently had surgery performed by Dr. Kirby. 3 procedures at once actually. It was my very first surgery, and I must say I was pleased with the job he did. Dr. Kirby went out on vacation shortly after my surgery, but his partner and the rest of the staff were very helpful in answering my questions during his absence. They even worked me in without an appt because I had a concern. (which turned out to be nothing) I have had a few post ops with him, and he's always been very informative, willing to answer any questions I've had. His bedside manner definitely put me at ease prior to the surgery, and since.
