I went to Dr Mayr for a second opinion on cervical spinal surgery. He was kind and concerned and explained what would be done. I needed 2 surgeries ACDF first and PCLF a few days later. It was a lot, but I was confident that he knew exactly what to do I just returned from my 6 week check up and was given permission to remove the collar! He looked at X-rays that were taken quickly and said my spine looks great I can see how nice it looks on the outside too. Brittany is the amazing teammate who gets things done and can take Staples’ out painlessly. I would highly recommend these kind professionals To anyone with spinal cord injuries.

I've had 2 appointments with him so far and I like his attitude, listening ability, forthright answers to questions and no pushing, just good advice from experience. He's the type of doctor I like to see. I've never had too wait long after arrival. Scheduling has been about as I needed it to be. He's one of several doctors I see between civilian and VA doctors, so the appointments work well for me.

Dr Mayr has been professional and friendly. He addresses any questions I have. He didn’t immediately jump to doing surgery which was great, because my symptoms got better and we are holding off until surgery is needed. He came highly recommended from others I know in the medical field.

I Was a little disappointed he did not show us the MRI. We had waited for an appointment for 3 months. That seems like a very long time to wait for an appointment. He was pleasant and easy to understand.
