Dr. Matthew Allen Parker, MD

Dr. Parker means well, but he tends to be a cold fish -- and does not do a thorough physical examination - looking at the labs, but not your skin or back or throat. He is very smart, but lacks the quality of human sympathy that is part of a good doctor-client relationship. And he charges an unseemly amount of money for the labs, which are clearly a big profit center in his practice. He insists that the labs be done in-house.

Matt Parker is the finest Dr I have ever known and after 40 years in DC I have been through more than a few. In diagnosing a rare and complicated disease he referred me to numerous specialists. Clearly, each of them was outstanding. "A" players associate with "A" players. I wish he accepted insurance but i am happy to pay top dollar for the level of care and sincere intetest he provides.
