Dr. Matthew Rogers, MD

I have been a patient of Dr. Rogers for 15 years. As a registered nurse, I have known and worked with MANY doctors over my 44 year career. He is the best. I trust him explicitly. He looks at the whole patient. He's always available to answer your questions and makes himself available via cell phone if you experience problems.

Does not let you finish your answer to his questions. He finishes them for you. I do not feel comfortable with him nor did my husband I'm sure he may be a great doctor and good at his field but I would not send a friend or family to him I left upset and feeling like we both wasted our time and money.

I saw him a few years ago and came out of the appointment in tears. He was rude. He walked in asked me why I was there as if he didn't have my file in his hand. In his words, "I walked iand saw an overweight woman with diabetes who isn't even trying to lose weight and doesn't care." Ten minutes of lecturing me about fatty food and he thinks he knows me. I eat lean mean and skinless chicken and I do not like a lot of butter or salt. No one should leave a appointment in tears unless they've been told they have something like cancer. I am tempted, but won't, go bqack to him and let him see that since he saw me, even though its taken a lot of time and am still overweight that I have lost 50lbs. Do not see this doctor. To say I left feeling worse, more frustrated and more stress than I did going in is an understatement.

This doctor is a true blessing. He is compassionate, empathetic, and totally dedicated to his patients. He has even taken the time to find other doctors that can provide excellent services outside of his field. If you have to wait, it is worth it. You can be assured that he is probably providing care for someone in need or an emergency.

He schedules patients to start arriving at 8:30 am, when he doesn't even arrive until 9:30am, letting your parking toll keep running up. He feels that blood leaking from your vein and pooling in your leg is not a vascular condition, and that I need to see a pain management doctor instead. He does disagreeable actions without consulting you first. He is arrogant and rude. He is a prime example for what's wrong with the health care system.

This is my husband's cardiologist. He has been great checked out other possible problems.
