Dr. Matthew Alfred Speicher, MD

I had a horrible experience over a course of about 5 visits with Dr. Speicher in 2023. He was unprofessional and condescending. Not only did he fail to explain the nature of my eye issue but he also jabbed me in the eye with a needle prior to treatment. When I asked a question, he actually said to me, "I'm talking now. Don't interrupt me." Needless to say, I will never be treated by him again. I would NOT recommend this doctor.

I was diagnosed with wet macular degeneration which requires frequent, intermittent treatment with injections. Dr Speicher is thorough in explaining different injection treatments, there are several, and why your treatment choice is selected. The staff is always on top of managing patients, clearly like working for the Retina Care physician staff, and keep the visits comfortable and pleasant. Dr Speicher is at the top of his field and current on the clinical management options and the research initiatives.
