I am writing this letter to express, my utmost gratitude for the exceptional care and support you provided during my total knee replacement, surgery, and recovery Dr. Squire, your expertise and skill in performing the surgery were truly remarkable. I am immensely grateful for the positive outcome. I would like to also extend my heartfelt appreciation to David Mathern your PA, for his thorough preparation and assistance before the surgery. His attention to detail and dedication made me feel confident and at ease throughout the process. Futhermore,, I cannot thank David Maaske my physical therapist enough for his outstanding efforts in helping me regain mobility and strength after the surgery.His unwavering, commitment, patience and skill, guidance played a crucial role in my successful rehabilitation. Together the three of you formed an incredible team that contributed to my overall recovery and well-being. Dr. Squire may be a good surgeon but I thought from the office visit his bed side manner was less than desirable. As for one sought a second opinion and this surgeon disagreed wholeheartedly that I needed no surgery. PT and pain management. Which so far has worked wonderfully. As my title suggests, for piece of mind, Seek a second Opinion.

First things first, I had advanced OA in my left knee and my right knee was not far behind (6 months max). Did a consult with 2 surgeons - one of them being Dr Squire. Ended up having both knees done at the same time! (call me crazy but it wasn't that bad...) Dr Squire will NOT sugar coat what he tells you. Straight up shooter. That might put some folks 'off' but I would rather have the unvarnished truth than to be glad-handed to appease my feelings. He is an EXCELLENT surgeon. At the end of the day, I could care less about some incompatibility factor - I'm not dating him. What I wanted is a competent, skilled and current in the field surgeon that has stellar results.

I had back to back bilateral hip arthroscopic surgeries with Dr. Squire and everything went smoothly with both surgeries, despite some complex issues with my hips. Between the two hips he repaired three labral tears, did osteoplasty on both sides, performed a illiopsoas release, and did microfracture on damaged articular cartilage. My hips are much improved and I would definately recommend him to others.
