Great doctor !

My first visit. The facility and staff are amazing! Check-in was quick and thorough. Wait time was minimal. I was taken to a room, interviewed, then to get an X-ray. All of this was very smooth and efficient. Dr. Swick was terrific - very knowledgeable, good at explaining my diagnosis, patient in answering my questions, and helpful in suggesting a non-surgical treatment plan. I am extremely pleased.

Fist visit. Was very impressed. Quick check in. Short wait to be taken back to exam room. Courteous physician assistant/nurse. XRay tech was quick and efficient. Dr Swick was super nice. Loved his description of my injury and a course of treatment that didn’t require surgery.

Dr Swick always answers my questions and he’s easy to understand. I am having him reconstruct my foot and am feeling very confident with him.

My visit was last minute and the practice was able to schedule an appt within 24 hours. My injury to my toe, on the surface seemed small, but my concern was taken seriously. Dr Swick explained the damage done and the process to expect in healing. One small procedure to drain fluid causing me discomfort and instructions for how to care for myself during the healing process and I was good to go. The practice was BUSY and they were in the process moving to their new location. My visit was about 1:30 from check-in to check-out, including x-rays. Everyone I encountered was polite, professional and apologetic to the wait but still completed their tasks efficiently. Overall, I left feeling better than when I arrived.

Went to Dr Swick 2 times. First for a torn Achilles tendon. He treated with a shot of platelet rich plasma, no surgery, and it healed perfectly . Next was a torn meniscus and cartilage stripped down to the bone on my left knee. Just finished with a partial knee replacement and am amazed at the lack of infection, no pain on walking, and how quick the recovery is going. Cheers to Dr Swick.

I just want to say that Doctor Swick is one of the nicest doctors that I’ve ever been to…. I’ve been needing surgery on my severely crooked left foot and ankle for a long time now and someone told me about Dr. Swick and I’m so glad because he helped me to feel calm before and after surgery and he took his time with me and answered all of my questions and made me feel comfortable and he did a great job on my foot…. I was so happy I had a good doctor that truly cared and I felt so well cared for and I’m so happy he straightened my foot for me from my rheumatoid arthritis… And if I ever needed surgery again, I would always choose Dr. Swick and I truly recommend him to anyone…. Very Kind, humble and helpful doctor…..

Dr. Swick missed 2 of my 3 open fractures. I knew something was not right in the office when the staff asked me to walk barefoot from the exam room to the X-ray room on a foot with a 3 day old open fracture for which I was taking antibiotics to prevent bone infection. The practice seemed like a warehouse for orthopedic patients. Instead of returning in two weeks, I went to another doctor where the physician showed me the 2 missed fractures. The lacerations were still open and the prescribed antibiotics were not strong enough, so more antibiotics as well. The new doctor was incredulous that a doctor could miss 2 of the 3 open fractures. Perhaps the practice is too busy. Just crazy.

I've seen Dr Swick a couple of times for severe pain and swelling in my right ankle. During my first visit, he injected the ankle with a steroid shot and ordered a MRI which ultimately revealed a Peroneus Brevis tendon tear. The injection "bought" me a few months of relief however, I recently saw him again as the pain is back. He injected the ankle once more however, he advised me surgery to fix the damaged tendon is inevidable as the steroids are essentially just a band aid. He's very upbeat and friendly, he takes time to answer questions, and he explains things thoroughly in terms I understand. ;) Because, I had spinal fusion surgery in 2014 (with another surgeon) which made me SO much worse today, I am very reluctant and afraid of surgery now. However, based on the few interactions I've had with with him and the reviews I've read, I've decided to have him do the surgery and I am confident about my decision. :)
