Dr. Matthew Paul Wichman, MD

Best doctor I’ve seen in a long time. He listened, he cares and fixed me. You will not regret your visit.

He is a fantastic surgeon who repaired my broken tibia just below the knee after I had slipped on ice. He thoroughly explained the procedure before the surgery and it went exactly as he described. He referred me to a great PT here in Grafton. Recovery went more smoothly than I thought possible. There is no doubt that I would choose Dr. Matthew Wichman as my surgeon should the need arise. I have already recommended him to others with no hesitation.

After several surgeries by other people, Dr. Wichman finally fixed my knee. He said it would be a long road (which it was) but I’m so happy I found him. Not sure what all of the bad reviews are talking about??? I was shocked when I saw them because they were a 1/5 for everything. His staff was extremely friendly.

I came in with a tear in my labrum in my hip and a CAM Lesion, both of which showed up on an MRI. Dr. Wichman spent very little time with me, during this time he gave me no choice in my care. He gave me an injection without telling me the risks or asking if I was okay with it. He told me I was doing physical therapy and he would see me in six weeks and walked out the door. He then scheduled surgery without telling me I was getting surgery and scheduled it for when I would be back home out of the state. I came back for my follow up before surgery, and he was short with, told me surgery wouldn't work when I wanted it, and used the word "hellbent". He is the rudest doctor I have ever been too. He only gives you the time of day if he feels like it, and I guess he didn't feel like it with me. I have experienced other surgeons who just don't have the social skills, but this is not the case, he is just egotistical, and he offended me in several ways. I do not recommend him at all. I left the… office wanting to cry because I felt so unheard.

Dr. Wichman was great. He took time to explain my injury and how to fix me. Surgery went great and I'm really happy I came to see him.

I went to Dr. Matthew Wichman for a bone marrow stem cell injection. He seemed genuinely excited about the procedure. He explained everything to me very clearly and helped me understand the process. While he didn't guarantee results, my knee hasn't felt this good in several years. The procedure wasn't too bad and I'm so glad I went forward with it.

Dr. Wichman did a great job fixing my ACL. I was so bummed that I couldn't play basketball but after going through surgery and PT, I'm back on the court. He really seemed to care about how I was doing and getting me back. Great doc, I'd highly recommend!!!!!

Everything was explained thoroughly, was seen on time for appointments, if not a bit early, surgery scheduled within my requested timeframe and was a great success, haven’t felt this good in a long time!

Dr. Wichman performed a hip repair for me. He was a caring, highly competent physician. I highly recommend his services! I can enjoy an active lifestyle once again due to Dr. Wichman's wonderful care.

Dr. Matthew Wichman was so kind and caring. He took the time to explain the source of my pain. We were able to deal with my shoulder pain with an injection and physical therapy. He was very strongly against surgery which I greatly respect. Thanks Dr. W.
