Dr Matthew L Wilner, MD

See this doctor at your own risk. My mom ended up in the emergency room and almost died because he would not do anything about her kidney stones. This ultimately caused damage to her kidneys. In addition, this doctor has terrible bedside manners. He lacked empathy for my mother who was in extreme pain and said he could do nothing for her.

He won't answer questions on patient portal. Requires you to come in for a visit so you can be charged to answer simple questions. His nurse responds to the portal, but answers questions in her opinion which has been found wrong on two occasions. This is a team that has every potential not only to not help patients, but to harm patients. I should know... I've had 2 different issues over the past 10 years that he's either misdiagnosed or mistreated. Not only is his capability as a practitioner questionable, but so is his ethics. I am finding another urologist who cares more about my health than about his wallet.

Despite daily calls, he did not provide POSITIVE cancer results for a full week after he received them. Then did not get the PET scan scheduled in anything timely. He should not be allowed to deal with people in life or death situations.

He has been my Doctor for many years, and he is the best.

Horrible chair side manners and he treats patients like they are dumb!

Overbooked, less than minimun time needed for appointment, doesn't follow on promises on xrays, questions, etc. He cannot be reached by phone-the operator says he has no phones nor any answering system; therefore, you are transferred to his assistant Chris who never answers phone, is very slow in providing responses, and either he or Wilner don't communicate well. Am very disgusted with this Dr after many years of going to him.

Since his marriage failed,he seems to be over booking patients. Wait time has been over hour for past year plus, his time with me has been less than ten minutes a visit, he fails to advise you of mrt, xray, etc., results on timely basis. I now am questionning his integrity.

I have been a patient for approximately 8 months.Dr.Wilner has a wonderful senseof humor which is very helpful when you have a difficult problem.The office staff is helpful, caring and very encouraging.I appreciate Dr. Wilner. He stays in it for the long haul and I appreciate that very much. I have recommended him to others.

I have been going to Dr. Wilner for many years and I have northing but praise for him and his staff. He is direct to the point and very confident. I like that. Have never had a problem with him or his staff.
