I have been going to Dr. Richard's since I was a little girl! She has always been very professional. She is great at what she does!

Dr. Richards is an excellent ophthalmologist. Thorough, caring and knowledgeable.

I Saw Dr Maureen Richards to test for glaucoma because my sister has it. When I arrived to my appointment the waiting room was packed and I waited over an hour before I was taken back into the offices. She did a few test and never expained what they were for or how they would tell me if I had Glaucoma. I was there in and out of rooms and the waiting area for another 2 hours (3 hours total there. I saw the doc maybe 30mins the whole time. One of the last tests performed dilated my pupils which made my eyes very sensitive to the light. I asked when I made the apt. if someone should drive me and I was told, I could drive myself. I am lucky i made it home I could hardly see, even after waiting in my car for 30 mins before driving. I also was told I had to come back for one test because they scheduled it wrong. So once again I had to take vacation time from work to go back. I again waited in the waiting room for almost an hour. On top of all that. I have a $50 Copay from my insurance… company. Even though both visits were to test for the same thing, they charged me two Copays. $100 dollars out of my pocket ontop of whatever the insurance paid. By the way I don't have glaucoma. I think she was just doing whatever she could to make more money. Please beware if you ever go here.
