Dr. Maureen Elizabeth Tart, MD

Dr. Tart and her team are absolutely fantastic. She takes the time to talk in length regarding your health and needs. I have had 2 children at this practice and can not rave about them more.

Worst Doctor. My daughter 1st time pregnancy, saw “Tart” with her sister. If I had gone, there would of been problems. She’s rude, judgmental & if a patient can’t be honest with their own doctor, then find another doctor. No empathy, asked questions several times with no answers, & nearly ran out the door as if we were inconveniencing her. My daughter WILL never step foot in this office again. This doctors last name certainly suites her. She is certainly “tart”. This doctor will continue to always take new patients. Considering others have left this office.

Dr. Tart was punctual, very very pleasant. I did not have an problems and will return next year.

Dr. Tart is judgmental and rude. As a medical professional, it is not her job to hand out judgments about your sexual habits, only to educate and care for you as her patient. I will not be returning to her, as she is easily the most unempathetic doctor I have ever met.

She is my least favorite doctor at the Lake Forest location..She makes you feel like your incompetent and a nuisance for visiting her. Just very rude..

Went in because my daughter was having pregnancy bleeding. She is a first-time mom and of course, worried. Dr. Tart was sitting there with her hands crossed the entire time telling my daughter she is the unlucky one. After my daughter was asking her the same question about 3 different ways (since she did not get an answer), Dr. Tart started walking towards the door and said "you keep asking me the same questions over and over" I could tell we were taking up her time and she was not going to go into any detail with any reassurance or info. Too worried about liability to give us a prognosis? Too cool to have some patience, grace, and kindness? Not sure but her bedside manner was obnoxious.

This doctor delivered one of my children. Things went mostly smoothly but this was the worst bedside manner I have experienced during a delivery. She can’t be bothered to even pretend she cares. I’ve seen her many times during different pregnancies and her mannerism is always cold. I really like the other doctors at the practice, but not Dr. Tart.

Her and her staff do not listen to their patients, I stated I had several questions for the doctor to 2 different people of her staff and was completely ignored. Not accommodating at all on follow up. Would try somewhere else first.

Dr Tart delivered my twins and had a great experience with it’s her. I’ve been going to her for over 3 years and have had nothing but positive

With every visit to OB/ GYNE Associates of Lake Forest I grow more disappointed. I will be searching for a new physician. I have seen Dr. Tart a few times with a scheduled appointment with specific concerns. Most recently I had to wait a few weeks for an appointment and I was told they would schedule my annual AND time to talk about my specific, time sensitive concerns. As usual, the appointment starts late, she does a quick exam, and tries to rush me out the door. I bring up my concerns and she just refers me to someone else. She showed more concern that it was a Friday afternoon. This could have been done without an appointment. This was another useless, disappointing appointment where I got no help or answers. Just another bill. I recommend someone else.
