Dr. Maurice Alazar, MD

Been a patient 4 years, was fine when dr alazar will see you but his nurse practices are rude , do not order appropriate test. Went to their office in severe pain. She was rude only ordered xoxo ray and promised to have results by next day. Lies .today I go to urgent care was told having a painful gout attack. They found by doing blood work she wouldn't order. Beware! Nothing but problems with this office.

He never spends more than a few minutes with them. It's all tests and xrays with this guy. Brother went in with a back issue... No exam... Straight to xrays. I called for info on him since he's laid up in bed and can't move and they said I'll have to call back tomorrow to see if he's gotten a chance to review them. It's been a week already.

Rude, hang up on you, promise to call in your meds by end of the day but don't. Tried him as my new PCP for several months and all I got was stress.

This doctor has trouble understanding English. He never spends more than 5 minutes with his patients. He cares more about the volume of patients he sees than the quality of care he provides. He is too busy trying to generate income for a new office than to take time to listen and care for his patients. When a CT scan showed that I had an enlarged heart in the hospital he told me that it wasn't and when I asked for an explanation, he grabbed the nearest nurse he could find to talk to me. He also prescribed medications that I was already taking while in the hospital. I refused to take them even though the nurse tried to get me to take them anyway. His office is very slow in ordering tests and he has a "medical assistant" call with the results even if they are abnormal. MA's are not qualified to give patients these results as they can't describe what the interpretations mean, treatment options or additional testing needed. He is overseeing the Nurse practitioners in the transitional care… program post-hospitalization and they are referring patients to Dr Alazar. To me, that is a serious conflict of interest. His ability to understand English is questionable since Arabic is his primary language (he was born in Syria). I feel he has no respect for women in general ( due to his cultural upbringing) and the way he dismisses me and gets impatient and dismissive of me when I try to ask questions. I do not recommend him unless you are willing to defer to him at all times without question. I could go on with different examples of inappropriate behavior but there's not enough here.

Great Doctor. He is compassionate and, explains things so that you understand. He truly cares about what's going on and, always makes sure your questions or concerns are answered. I am grateful I found this Doctor. The front office Manager and, Carmen are the best!

Very nice professional Dr. Listens to what you have to say and answers your questions. Talks to you in terms you can understand.
