Dr. Meenal Sadanand Lothe, MD

Dr Lothe was rude on several occasions. Her staff does not return calls until you leave multiple messages. Lab results would never be posted to the patient portal. Older technology. I changed doctors and the difference is remarkable.

I think she is fantastic. She is no nonsense, get you healthy approach. She doesn't buy useless excuses of why you are not losing weight etc. But she tells it like it is and spends just the right amount of time with you. She knows everything about me when she walks in and if I lost weight - she hollers :-) so I know when she comes in, I will not get the look of "why don't you care" I think she is great, a little tough but she does it for the benefit of her patient. At first that put me off, but when I realized it is her mission to make me healthy, I realized, I was the problem not her.

Prior to moving from Nashville to Atlanta in 2016, I went to a urgent care clinic for respiratory problems. The doctor told me I had racing heart beat and to go to an emergency room if heart attack symptoms appeared. I discussed this with my family care doctor and he attributed the rapid pulse to my being sick prior to going to the urgent care center. While packing up to move I began to easily fatigue and felt tired and run down. After moving to Atlanta my sister recommended I see Dr. Lothe who ordered a CT Heart Scan which showed a 95% blockage in one of my coronary heart arteries. I went to a cardiologist and a stent was placed in the blocked artery. I immediately felt so much better and believe it if it hadn't been for Dr. Lothe I would have had a heart attack. Dr. Lothe is kind, compassionate, and thorough. She is the best doctor I have ever had.

Dr Lothe was ok in the beginning until she didn't advocate for her patients and accused them of arguing with her staff without finding out the facts. Since when was it ok to imply something when all you are doing is asking what was the injection you got. They didn't even know and claimed you didnt get an injection. When the secretary realized she was wrong, you are now being claimed of noncompliance. There is a difference between a concern and arguing. Its normal for any human to be concerned about a medication. That is your right. Chantel and that office is unbelievable for healthcare. Cecilia was the only one on staff that showed compassion and work ethic and she was the technican assistant. A shame.

Changed Doctors because the 1st Doctor didn't listen, He just worked on his computer. She listens, then checks records on the computer!

I've been going to Dr. Lothe for five years and have found her to be knowledgable, interested, and caring. Having been in the hospital for many months, I'm very particular about my doctors now, and I'm very happy with how she takes care of me. She's thorough and smart!

Listened to me, Made good observations and followed up when forwarded a out of normal level test result from a specialist on a routine test. Previous doctors would have just filed it.

I wanted a younger dr. Found Dr. Lothe and I am happy with the care she's given me. She greets me with a smile, listens, doesn't rush, asks questions and when I need another Dr. I ask for her advice. She's the best!

Excellent doctor, with great bedside manners, takes time to listen to your concerns. Manages complicated problems, very smart. Definitely recommend her anytime!

Dr. Lothe was very approachable and willing to hear the patient concerns. She spent more than an adequate amount of time in the exam room and explained all of the testing she was obtaining. Overall I found her to be an excellent physician.
