Megan Carnicer, APRN

Megan Carnicer, APRN, cares for patients ages 12 and older at AdventHealth Medical Group Family and Internal Medicine at Westchase. She provides family medicine care with a focus on prevention, acute and chronic disease management, annual physicals, immunizations and sick and well visits. Megan has four years of APRN experience and more than 10 years in nursing. Her background includes urgent care, family medicine, pediatric cardiology and pediatric cardiac intensive care, with previous roles at TGH Fast Track Urgent Care in Tampa, St. Joseph’s Main Hospital in Tampa and Nicklaus Children’s Hospital in Miami. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing and Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Miami School of Nursing and Health Studies in Miami, Florida. Drawn to medicine at an early age, Megan saw how compassionate clinicians supported her family during her father’s illness. That experience shaped her desire to build relationships with patients, help …them understand their care and make a meaningful difference in their lives.
Megan works collaboratively with you and a multidisciplinary team to accomplish the desired treatment goals with care and compassion.
Outside of work, she enjoys traveling to new countries, spending time with family and friends, reading, gardening and cooking.
