Dr. Meghan Arvind Patel, MD

I took my then 16 year old daughter to Dr Patel because she was having legitimate gynecological issues and needed to discuss. Dr. Patel’s first words when she came in the room was about her weight and how she needed to lose weight and everytime we tried to discuss the concerns my daughter was having she’d cut us off and blame it on what she was eating or drinking and never let us get a word in edgewise. My daughter was in tears and already suffering from low self esteem (which I told the dr about) but she kept berating her and making her feel horrible. She has horrible bedside manners and doesn’t listen. Apparently cares more about her own agenda than her patients care.

Dr Patel was so calm, understanding, and patient after a miscarriage. She explained everything, answered all of my questions, and was so patient and hopeful. I am so happy to have her support through my pregnancy

I've had the same OB/GYN for over 20 years and a problem that could have been fixed easily caused me years of pain ending with a hysterectomy. I am a cardiac RN, but this is not my area of expertise. I chose Dr. Patel for robotic surgery and she was terrific. Everything went smoothly and I only had one day of actual pain. I would definitely recommend her.

I am not recommending Dr. Meghan A. Patel. Her style is abrupt, harsh and not accommodating. She is not able to show any empathy or even understand other people's concerns or problems - she doesn't even try in the first place. Also, don't ask any questions, she won't tolerate it; her opinion is the law, so expect to be treated diminutively! Stay away!!!

Took wonderful care of me. I had a Robotic Hysterectomy and everything went smoothly. I trust her judgement and skill as a surgeon.

Dr. Patel shouldn't be a doctor. She has no bedside manner at all. Plus she very WRONGLY misdiagnosed my baby and was insistent on it. She is known around the office as "Dr. Doomsday" She only talks about the negative and everything that can possibly go wrong. The Center for Women's Health is an amazing office...just not including Dr. Patel.

I was extremely happy with Dr Patel. She has the medical expertise, she is kind and respectful and she explains everything she does and why she is doing it. I was very happy with her and The Center for Women's Health in Langhorne PA. The staff there is wonderful too!

I met Dr. Patel during an urgent visit to the ob triage. She was very attentive to my needs and understanding and supportive. I have had some issues this pregnancy and she has been wonderful! I actually only saw her in the office once- however I went in stressed and scared and walked out with peace of mind. She seems to know and understand my case- as do all the doctors at cwh- I appreciate her friendliness towards me and her warmth. I can be nervous nelly and she is always patient to listen and respond. I have to schedule an induction next week and boost do so when she is on call :)

I am devastated with the visit I just has with this "Dr". I am a nurse myself and would not recommend this person to anyone I know. She is new to "center for womens health" and the moment I walked into the room she didn't ask me how I was feeling or any appropriate "Dr/patient" questions. She just said "so your babies in breech.... You know what that means..... You're having a C-section". Not "the baby could flip or this is a possibility or are you ok? Nothing. Then proceeds to try to sell me on their nutritionist they have on staff because she said I have too much weight to lose. I had a miscarriage before this pregnancy and I had weight from that and had hyperemesis gravidarum and have been vomiting my whole pregnancy and my old obgyn said I have a ton of water weight with pitting edema. If she bothered to look into my chart and ask me questions about who I am and how my pregnancy was going she would know that. She's young, new, tries to behave like she's a very experienced… physician when she should be more humble with better bedside manner and have a little courtesy when it comes to her patients. I stood up and walked out. No patient should ever be treated the way she treated me. My husband is a physician and when I told him how the appointment went he was beside himself. Maybe if she humbles herself and reads or at least skims charts prior to seeing patients she can prevent herself from causing anyone else more hurt and harm. Maybe one day she will learn to treat a patient not as a number but as a person.
