Mehdi M. Kebria, M.D., grew up in a family of physicians and is proud to carry on that tradition. He is board-certified in gynecologic oncology, obstetrics and gynecology, and specializes in ovarian, cervical, vulvar and uterine cancers.As an accomplished clinician, Dr. Kebria has expertise in advanced robotic surgery and the use of cytoreductive surgery with HIPEC in the treatment of gynecologic cancers. Prior to City of Hope, Dr. Kebria served as director of robotic surgery and director of quality and patient safety at the Cleveland Clinic in Ohio.A sought-after medical expert, Dr. Kebria appears frequently in the media as an expert on women's cancers and has published dozens of peer-reviewed articles.A native of Iran, Dr. Kebria received his medical degree from Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Science in Tehran. He completed residencies at University of Connecticut (general surgery), the Cleveland Clinic (OB/GYN) and the Mayo Clinic (gynecologic oncology).

So happy he is my doctor, super kind, super nice, he cares about his patients, he explains everything in details, very straight forward ! He did my hysterectomy procedure VERY SUCCESSFUL !!! He is just the BEST ! THE BEST!

My female gynonc left town and i had to get another doctor. I wanted to replace my female doctor with another female, just because my last male gynonc was terrible, but couldn't very easily and ended up with Dr. Kebria. I was a skeptical at first, no fault of his, but I'm glad it turned out the way it did; I am very pleased with Dr Kebria and feel fortunate to have him as my doctor. I can't remember the last time I had a doctor treat me with so much respect, and spend so much time with me after my exam answering all my questions.

The doctor made me feel instantly at-ease during a very difficult time. I found him to be reassuring and confident. He was knowledgable and spent all the time that I needed answering questions. He is a skilled surgeon and I had an excellent outcome.

I have been a patient of Doctor Moslemi-Kebria for 3 years. I first met him when I was diagnosed with a very rare and aggressive form of cancer. We were told by another doctor that we should consult with Dr. Moslemi-Kebria, he is very knowledgeable, very honest, effective, well connected and has a genuine concern for all of his patients." Well, I now know from personal experience that all of the above descriptors were accurate. Dr. Moslemi-Kebria keeps very current on the latest techniques, and treatments. He cares a lot about his patients and do his best in treatments.
