Dr. Melanie Ann Argo, Psy.D., PhD

When someone has a natural talent, and that talent is augmented with years of study, and practice... the result is special. Often they make other practitioners, no matter how schooled, feel like they're missing an ingredient. Sports, art, math etc etc, I think this applies to all areas of study and profession. Melanie is in that special category. She's a listener... I'd given up on therapists and the very concept of therapy itself, thinking that I must not be one of those people that it works for. I'd seen several over the years, and too often it was underwhelming, and in a few instances gravely disappointing. Most of all, I just didn't feel supported. I can say that now after my experience with Melanie, but I didn't know it at the time. A few events in life made me seek therapy one last time, and maybe karma exists because I found therapy CAN work, with the right practitioner. And the results can be nothing short of life-changing.... in a literal way. It is due to the work I put… in, but no matter how talented you are, you need a talented coach.
