Dr. Melissa Kathleen Martin, MD

Office staff is extremely rude and short with patients. Dr. Martin is very silly and thinks everything is a joke! My wife and I will not be returning to this practice. Very unprofessional.

Dr. Martin treats my entire family, and I couldn't be happier with the care that we receive. Appointments are very easy to get, she returns calls personally and promptly, and the staff in the office treat us like family.

We love Dr. Martin! She took my son as a patient because our first peditrician stopped practicing. She is kind, courteous, respectful, and a very fine doctor! My son had a (harmless) condition that our first doctor just dismissed and she called me at home after our first appointment because she had rememberd the name of it and wanted to make sure we had the information we needed. She's great... we always feel comfortable talking to her and asking questions, we never feel rushed and she is always available if we need her. It's so nice to feel that someway when you've got babies on the loose! Thanks Dr. Martin! (and Staff!)

Dr. Martin has treated my entire family (my wife, son, and me) since we moved to Athens 3 years ago. She manages to combine empathy with the ability to give a kick in the pants when needed - a trait that many people in the "me first" world don't appreciate. She's truly brilliant, but also doesn't have an ego that makes her want to tackle issues for which there are other specialists. My family trusts her implicitly, and she has earned that trust with the exceptional care we've received from her and her entire staff.

Dr. Martin is a wonderful doctor. We have been seeing her for over 3 years, and have nothing but good things to say. She is a smart and no-nonse doctor about serious issues, but she is loving and encouraging about all concerns. She will never undermine a concern, and she is the perfect doctor for a new mom!

Love her, love her, love her! Dr.Martin is the best doctor in town. My three children love her so much that they hug and kiss her everytime we leave! They ask me why they only get to see her once a year! Now what child says that about their doctor!

Dr. Martin takes time with her patients. She is very intelligent and an excellent problem solver. She just always seems to know the answer! She has diagnosed and treated me for several conditions and I couldn't be more impressed. She returns her own patient calls, always taking time to answer your questions thoroughly. It's also great that she sees any age patient - being both a Pediatrician and an Internist. She is my toddler's doctor too. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a doctor!
