Dr. Melissa Schiskie, DO

I was a patient of hers for a few years. A month after my last visit with her (which included an annual physical) I got notification that she was leaving. The letter said "As some of you may know..." yet she'd not given me the courtesy of starting a physical with a new doctor. There was also a time before this when she noticed my b12 was high and asked if I was taking a supplement. But of course I was because she'd told me two when my b12 was low. Is this not in my chart? Also, six months after my last visit, I finally found a GI specialist who informed me that my iron was low. NO OTHER DOCTOR told me this. Iron deficient anemia was at least part of the cause of my extreme fatigue leading to weight gain. Would have been nice to know a couple of years back; I checked my ferritin on previous blood tests and it's been low for years. She should have been doing whatever it was she really wanted to be doing because it definitely wasn't helpful for me.
