Dr. Melissa Selke, MD

I have been to many different physicians over the years, but I finally found a good one with my neighbor's recommendation. Dr. Selke is extremely knowledgeable and thorough with a great bedside manner. That is a rare combination with any doctor. She will take the time to answer each and every question and has even called me back personally on a Saturday to help with my medical needs. Great office hours and the staff is very nice. I always have a good experience there, and I can rest assured I will be getting the best care possible. I've even recommended her to other family members and friends so they can receive the best treatment as well.

The last 6 times Ive had an appointment I was not seen until an hour or longer after appointment time. She doesn’t value your time at all. Will not be back

Excellent office staff and Dr. Olga and Dr. Selke are awesome. Caring, patient focused, and thorough. Wait times are way too long for patients.

Dr Selke does not have a good bedside manner. Was very inexperienced when I was pregnant with my twins & scared me with some of her comments. I switched to Somerset OB/Gyn for my care & never looked back. Long wait times too.

Dr. Selke is an MD who provides medical care for children, teenagers, and adults of all ages. She is a doctor whom I trust and with whom I can easily communicate and establish a long-time relationship. It is reassuring to have finally found the right doctor who promotes an atmosphere of mutual respect, she does this by spending enough time and really listening to me as the patient. She focuses on doing the right thing, not by being right and in doing so, I've found that she consistently provides correct treatment. I am very grateful to Dr. Selke because she cares and has resolved issues for me when other doctors did not, including specialists. The office is clean and tidy, and the location is convenient with accessible parking. I have had many doctor's, and Dr. Selke is by far the best communicator, and most caring doctor I have ever had. Very good diagnostician, outstanding staff, and she has created a very comfortable environment. She is tech-savvy, utilizing a laptop in the examination room. The only drawback is about 45-50 minute wait after appointment time before you actually see her. The challenge for a Dr. who truly takes time with her patients, is that it means longer wait times. For me personally, I am happy to wait, in order to get the quality of care I want and need. Just bring a book.
