Dr. Melissa Ruth Strike, DO

Dr. Melissa Striker now practices in Colorado Springs at UC Health. I called to ask to speak with the Doctor who I had a recent tele-visit with and because I mispronounced her name, the gatekeeper was rude to me. She then had Dr. Striker's assistant (KEISHA) call me back and Keisha wouldn't let me get a word in and said I was rude to the front desk person. I was not and my wife heard the whole conversation on speakerphone. I have never had such horrible customer service. I asked Keisha to have the Dr. call me and she said she would not do so...that I needed to contact "management". This was a stressing experience (and I'm a heart patient) in which all forms of real customer service on their behalf was abandoned and forsaken. I will NOT remain a patient due to their conduct. This is unacceptable. Doctors should put more weight on who they hire...I would be outraged if one of my clients felt slighted by my office staff! I DO NOT RECOMMEND this office. I think there are others… who would bend over backwards for your business right now!

Dr Melissa Strike helped me with pain management and rehabilitation after major spinal surgery at Mercy. She is caring, intelligent and actually listens to what you say. She prescribed the appropriate drugs to reduce my pain and helped me taper off in a safe manner. Wish I had a Dr like her back home in DC since I only came to St Louis for the surgery.
