Dr. Melvin Douglas Merritt, MD

He was my doctor for my first pregnancy, so I went along with everything he did and said. Thinking he knows what he's doing. One of my check ups I had to put the gown and I had nothing on from the waist down. I waited for an hour sitting like that for him to come in the room and check me out for 5 minutes. I was not very happy about that.... But then it came time for delivery and I was induced. My baby was faced the wrong way and I ended up with some major tears and my baby had some really bad suction marks on his head and now has a scar on his upper lip. It was the worst experience I have ever had in my life.

Dr Merritt made me feel at ease during a rough pregnancy. In every appointment he took his time, made me feel at ease, and answered every question. He always seemed to go out of his way to make me feel comfortable.
