Dr. Meredith Ann Kenney, DO

Dr. KENNEY IS CARING, PROFESSIONAL AND EXTREMELY THOROUGH. SHE IS WELL INFORMED ABOUT CURRENT MEDICAL PRACTICES AND PROCEDURES. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND DR. MEREDITH KENNEY.

I was referred to Dr. Kenny by a colleague- I was looking for a female GP. When booking the appointment I was asked if I would like my initial paperwork mailed to me, I said yes. I also expressed that I would like my current medical records at the meeting so we could make the meeting more efficient. I was told that was not a problem- they paperwork to get the medical records was included. I never received the paper work and I had to call them the Monday before my appointment to find out why. At that point, the woman offered to email it to me (not sure why that was not offered in the first place). I immediately filled out all the paperwork and got it right back to her knowing that time was an issue. They were unable to get the records, so I opted to move my appointment until after the holidays so it would be there. Fast forward to today- I just returned from my non-appointment. When I got into the exam room, the nurse started asking me all these questions that I had already… filled out on the forms. When I asked her if she received my forms, she said yes- so I questioned why we were going through all of this, what was the point of me doing 45 minutes of paperwork if it wasn't going to be used- to this she had no answer. I then inquired about my medical records, she left the room only to come back to tell me they had not received them (it has been three weeks). At this point I was extremely frustrated- here I am trying to see if this doctor is fit, and all I am experiencing is incompetence. I asked about the medical records and she said "it was not their responsibility to follow up on it for my appointment". What? I filled out their paperwork, I already moved an appointment once explaining I would like the paperwork at the appointment, and in three weeks no one bothered to check in on it? So I ask to see Dr. Kenney to discuss my experience- I explain all of the issues above. She responded that she "understood" and was asked what I wanted to do. I said I would like to receive my co-payment back and reschedule for another day. I was told it was unfortunate, but they could not refund me because I was "canceling" my appointment. REALLY? This was the answer, this was the only answer, and I was escorted to the door by Dr. Kenney. I turned to her on the way out and said "Are you serious?", and she just shrugged her shoulders and walked away leaving me flabbergasted. So I hope the $30 copay and a unprofessional attitude was worth the one star reviews I will be leaving for her and Advocare.
