Dr Lossata cares about patients that have trouble getting a correct diagnosis with serious symptoms/objective signs that are overlooked or the patient is not listened to and with her professional knowledge and knowing just who to refer the pt, the job gets done! I have so much respect for her empathy and sincere care of the distress the pt is suffering ! I just can’t think of a better patient advocate for the underserved, misunderstood pt ! Her East team with Denise NP at the helm making the pt day a calmer and always laughter along with the wonderful nurses. Dr Lossata was born to be a doctor who we all can remember as kids , the doctors that really care as does her great team !

I saw Dr. Lossada s few years back when she was at Marion Hospice. I had come to her for my frustrations with doctors inability to diagnosis widespread Livedo Reticularis with white pasty face prn, MGUS Dx and chronic pain. She was wonderful and gave me referrals for other specialist to get Dx but I have yet to find a doctors that cares enough about patients quality of life. I wanted her to take me as Palliative care patient but Marion Hospice told me.i was terminal or life limiting diagnosis. Marion Hospice does not follow. caps.org Palliative guidelines that allow curative along with Palliative. I would highly recommend. Dr Lossada to patients/families for Hospice provider as she does care
