Dr. Michael Alan Banks, MD

I have been a patient to Dr. Banks for many years. He did my knee replacement and other matters. He is excellent doctor and knows what he is doing I trust my family to him and had my son to him for a chipped ankle.

Going in for the first time, this appointment could not have been easier. Greeted immediately, started filling out paper work, called in immediately, x-rays done, met with doctor - in and out within 1/2 hour. Excellent!

Dr. Banks was highly recommended, and I was sorely disappointed in him. He spent about two minutes with me, and I'm not exaggerating. I went to him for hip pain. He looked over my xray, and said there was nothing wrong except some arthritis. He did little to no physical examination - didn't ask me to move my hip joint, walk, etc. -- he just looked at the xray. I did not feel like this was a quality examination.

Had a knee replacement he explained what was going to happen, not real talkative guy but tells you what you need to know. Did a fantastic job on my knee. Would nothave a problem going to him again anytime

Exceptional care and services. Had two full hip replacements and even a nurse friend of mine who saw the incisions was impressed. Would recommend him in a heartbeat.

Dr. Banks stepped when my surgeon could not perform my surgery. He did a great job on a hip that was embedded in my pelvis. I was back on my feet in just a few weeks, feeling so much better. I found him to be not only a great surgeon but one that takes the time to answer questions, and provide the reassurances that I needed. I have had surgery with his partner Dr. Mark Panigutti and found that he was a great surgeon as well. The Orthowest Group is filled with people that are kind and caring completely devoted to the patient. The office manager, Ann Marie Walker will go out go her way to accommodate the patient and is always professional and very kind. I highly recommend Dr. Michael Banks for any type of Orthopedic Surgery.
