Dr. Michael William Barber, MD

My experience with Dr Barber and his staff were top notch. Dr Barber was very pleasant and made me feel extremely comfortable during the two visits I had with him. He took time to explain everything to me and made sure I didn’t have questions that went unanswered. I would highly recommend him, even to women that are not comfortable talking about extremely personal issues. A big thank you to him!

Doctor Barber is not only a great professional but the best human beings! I was his patient 19 years ago when I was pregnant and just arriving in this amazing Country That call home now. He was so sweet and understanding with my bad English.. I will never forget him and his nurses as they all were some of the first people I meet in this country. I have the best memories and my eternal gratitude!

The 4 star is for dr. Barber he is a very passionate doctor and I love him he was trying to help me out with my fertility problems I believe he's one of the best but his staff is very unprofessional the secretary that works upfront for scheduling and other stuff is horrible her MA Monica is great but everyone else is horrible I was told that I have to take progesterone pills to get my progesterone level up but the instruction from them changes each time I calls they don't get back to me not until a week later. I had a miscarriage and told them that I need to be seen by the doctor but the Front desk lady Lisa had told me that she'll get back to me for appt and stuff never happened and when I finally told her I wanted my records she said she'll send me the release forms for me to fill out she never did. And the wait is about 2 hrs to get seen. The staff are horrible except for Monica which is one of the nurses or medical assistant but Dr. Barber is awesome I wish I could go back to him… but like I said the scheduling lady Lisa never calls back to schedule appointments.

Staff and Dr. Are nice but not accommodating. After waiting a month for an appointment I had to take off work to go to they were 1 1/2 hours behind had to reschedule me ANOTHER month out then was late again the next appointment that I again had to take off for.

Although Dr.Barber is an excellent Doctor, the office staff is horrible at 1 answering the phone and 2 getting back to you when you leave a message whether it be pertaining to the questions asked on the answering machine or refill requests I must definitely say they really need to come up with a better resolution to this highly annoying and incompetent issue.

I give one star, because none is not an option. Knowing that after conceiving it would be high risk because of a previous diagnosis and miscarriage I did what I was told and contacted the office as soon as I had a positive test. There is never an answer so I left a message, 6 hours later I call back and find out that I need to go get bloodwork done. I rush to get it done the same day which was a Monday. I called the office for results (because they would determine what meds I needed to start or change) I called the office Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. Never could get ahold of anyone, and then Saturday suffered another misscarriage. On Monday I did not call the office to see if they would finally call me, well they did not. Tuesday I called and let them know how unhappy I was, I was apologized to by one of the nurses (who was always great but happened to be off the week I speak of). I was in to a new doctors office by Thursday who answers the phone when you call and gets you… right in when you need to be seen, I told him my whole story and he said nothing was done correctly to manage my earlier diagnosis. He's over an hour away but what's an hour drive when you have to wait a week or morn for Dr Barbers office to call you back. Being pregnant is such an emotional and supposed to be precious time of your life, don't let this doctor ruin it for you!!!

Any woman that wants to get a yearly ob/gyn, i STRONGLY advise you not to go to this facility, I went to my app, waited for over an hour, and was not seen so i rescheduled only to come back, wait two hours and still not be seen, this "medical office" clearly does not understand how to do their job and see their patients when they are scheduled. if you go there you are waisting your time. i work 5 days 8-5 and dont have time to take off work to wait for an exam that is never done. and i took off work twice to apprently waist my time. NEVER AGAIN!

Amazing wonderful doctor delivered my baby

Had a miscarriage and was very helpful, patient, and understanding. The absolutely best I've ever known. He takes his time with you and doesn't rush you in and out like other doctors I've been to. Would highly recommend!
