Dr. Michael Raymond Binder

If you are looking for a REAL Psychiatrist. Then you have found the real thing. Finding Dr. Binder is as rare as walking on the sidewalk and finding a huge diamond in front of you. Just laying on the sidewalk. Real good psychiatrists are THAT RARE. Once word gets out; there is a stampede to their door and they ae overwhelmed by patients. Dr. Binder is polite, extremeley, knowledgeable, and YES even humourous! He knows the DSM IV like the back of his hand. He has no problem recommending the right medications - There pluses and minuses.. And he will TELL you all you need to know about that specific medication! And if have any negative reactions with it. He is quick to offer another substitute instantly. He is THAT GOOD with medicine. He is FUN to talk to. I have been to A LOT of psychiatrists and I cannot emphasise how rare people like him are! So.. Good luck with your searches.. (but you just passed a diamond on the sidewalk, if you look elsewhere. GG

Deliberately addicting patients to risky mind-altering pills is bad medicine and in this country it is still legal but NOT in other countries. The akithisia this man caused me is unforgiveable as he did NOT warn me of the dangerous risks involved.

Dangerous doctor who does not warn of the potency nor lethality of the risky mind altering pills he irresponsibly prescribes. These are mostly illegal in other countries as they lead to poor outcomes, especially akathisia, metabolic damage and anxiety. Michael Binder also lied about these drugs not being addictive. They absolutely are!

In 2yrs, I have gotton off of a med that was 2 strong 4 me in terms of daily functioning (as well as for good refreshing sleep) Now, I have returned to normal functioning. If you can imagine how much of a "blessing" it is not to have to carry a very heavy load (of tiredness, sleepiness and other drug side effects) & exchange it 4 a return to normal life. On the old medication, I was sleepy and tired almost all the time. I slept 12hrs sometimes & even then needed 2 or so hrs more to feel normal. The old med was like trying to do things w/heavy weights tied 2 me (mental/physical) both while sleeping & trying to wake. Now those weights are gone. I gained maybe up to 4 rs a day (compared to some days) that b4 I normally lost to excessive drug side effects. Very thankfully, my sleep & dreams are better now too, & together w/these imprvmnts also, I can now spend time with my wife that I just couldn't b4. Dr. Binder is also faith affirming which to me as a Christian is absolutely… esessential!

Dr. Binder seems like he is well-qualified but was unprofessional and unhelpful. His approach was uncaring and manipulative. He took advantage of what I disclosed to him in confidence and used that private information to further divide my family. I believe in God and he knows what you have done and are doing.

I needed a doctor that was a good listener, with expert advise / diagnosis that wasn’t scripted and met my specific needs; yet they had to be kindhearted and humble. Dr. Binder exceeded my expectations. He has the gift of making things that seem confusing and complex very palatable and easy to understand. I was able to make a quick recovery over several months and I felt empowered and encouraged down the path of healing after each visit.

Prior to seeing Dr. Binder, I was seeking consultation with with another doctor who suggested I take medication that may have helped with my symptoms, but had several side effects that greatly reduced my quality of life. Scared that I would have to accept that as the new norm, I found Dr Binder and setup a consultation to review my case. Within the first hour he seemed to fully understand what I was experiencing, and encouraged me with confidence that he could help. He helped me to stop taking the damaging medication and prescribed a new one. Within a short period of time most of my original symptoms were gone and there were no noticeable side effects! After some time, I was having a follow-up appointment and I spoke openly about some of the original symptoms that still lingered. Again, he confidently prescribed another prescription to go along with the original. Admittedly a little skeptical, I started taking the two. The results were outstanding! I'm better than I've been… in many years, and have no side effects from either medication. These are not habit forming and I will not develop a tolerance to the medication. That is extremely important to me. I trust and will continue to see Dr. Binder. I highly recommend him to anyone who is in a similar situation, or is looking for a doctor who will take the time to truly listen and help.

I am pleased to announce that I finally threw away my pride and built the courage to make an appointment with Dr. Binder. He is not a quack or fraud that was noted in previous reviews. Everything symptom I explained to him matched exactly what my neurologists told me. I pray and hope that is diagnosis (short term) will relieve my illness. He was kind, caring and was very detailed on how he was able to incorporate my symptoms into one factor. So..I will see how the journey goes. I just want to get better. I have confidence that I chose the right MD to help and guide me through. Some times medication is the beginning to healing. We just have to be patient and work with the doctor.

His dangerous SSRIs and Antidepressants caused me Akathesia, insomnia, homicidal ideation, and more. Stay away from this guy! I am weaned off this garbage for good and done with his fraudulent addictive practices. It feels great to find myself again after this dance with deathly Satan.
