Dr. Michael Robert Bloomfield

Rude and abrupt... He may be a good surgeon but he is a poor practitioner. His scope is very narrow and he was unwilling to even discuss related back issues to my severe hip degenerative disease, or address the discrepancy in my leg length. He only knows cortisone and surgery. A prescription for a handicap placard was a chore for him to right. Very disappointed.

Dr. Bloomfield and his staff, and Hillcrest Hospital, did a fantastic job throughout the process - before, during, and after my procedure. Caring, thorough, responsive, skilled and tremendously supportive team. I highly recommend Dr. Bloomfield for orthopaedic surgery.

Dr Bloomfield and his staff were excellent. I never felt rushed and he always got back promptly with any questions I had. Would definitely recommend him to any friend looking for an orthopedic surgeon.

I would highly recommend Dr. Bloomfield. I was very impressed how organized his practice was from start to finish. I never felt rushed. After my hip replacement I had daily contact with him and his office through a question and answer program via HealthLoop. I was able to take pictures of any concern and send it to his staff. They always responded quickly. It really helped put my mind at ease.

This procedure has been extremely improved since my first total knee replacement on my other knee in 2008 by another surgeon. From the procdure to follow-up care has been exceptional. Recovery is weeks ahead. I have used Heathloop to send photos and have quick responses from Dr. Bloomfield's staff.

I haven't had my follow up appointment yet but everything so far has been 5 stars.

Impressed with Dr. Bloomfield personality and attention to detail. When I was debating THR versus Resurfacing I got a personal call which really sealed for me that I would use Dr. Bloomfield. Excellent backup staff.

Dr. Bloomfield has a calm, proficient manner. He takes plenty of time to answer questions and address concerns. Knee surgery is tough, no doubt, but I cannot imagine anyone who could do it better. I like the fact that he uses dissolving stitches and glue, which minimizes scarring. The daily check-in post-op is reassuring.

I would recommend Dr. Bloomfield. He explained how everything was going to work. The preparation and follow-up on what to expect was very well done. He answered all questions. I found him to be very personable and easy to discuss the problems and solutions with.

The Doctor is very competent with a high degree of care.
