If there was any physician that I had doubts & disappointments about then it was Bongiovanni. From his lack attention during the trauma unit period through the subsequent four months of wasted time at his clinic that he neglected prompt requisite treatment for the clavicle break & dislocation, well as shoulder separation & other injuries, while pushing ineffective & dubious schemes upon me (like an ultra-sound device that research has been proven as ineffective & a scam), I never spoke with him about any supposed polysubstance use, much less that he counseled me about such issues because they absolutely don't apply to me. During the USN, I was a counselor with great responsibility to myself & my people where I abstained from alcohol along with all other incapacitating illicit substances. That characterization continued after retirement & through today. I went through some of the Scripps Mercy documents & very incensed about the implication & consequences from his singular brief… statement rife with mischaracterizion, slander, & falsehood. How extensive is the corruption & influence upon him that such a deliberate lie can happen where it affects my pursuit of recovery & justice? Is he influenced, affiliated, or connected with San Diego city or county? I believe so. No other physician indicated any such matter. I had spoken to other physicians during admission & the inpatient term, about rare if no alcohol consumption, no tobacco use, discreet & judicious use of a medical marijuana authorization, the medications prescribed by the Veterans Administration, chronic injury conditions, & my fit religious lifestyle. These are Truth. No levels of blood alcohol content were, much less could have been, detected. The THC level supposedly detected was likely very low from the rare & discreet use of that. Yet, how did the orthopedic consultant get away with deliberate mischaracterization & falsehood? Is this type of entry slipped in upon all victims of negligence so they don't get justice? Does he slip in such a statement merely to elevate himself above others or because of some other undue corruptive influence? During the six days of trauma unit stay, he only visited a few times & always very briefly in a way that I was concerned about the lack of communication affecting my diagnoses & treatment. That is also an accurate characterization about his clinic conduct, if I saw him at all, while waiting through hours past my scheduled appointment time. I never discussed anything with him about alcohol or any illicit substance use much less did he provide any counseling. I realize that Scripps Mercy appeals & attracts people at the lower socio-economic strata, which this impoverished military retiree happens to be categerized, but the other issues often assumed to be related with poverty don't apply to me or my ethics, morals, values, conduct & lifestyle. I also realize that my lower socio-economic strata has affected my rights, protections, access, well-being, opportunities, & else well as encountering deliberate abuse, harm, oppression, prejudice, stereotype, injustice, corruption & crime that others have been indulged to commit without exposure or accountability. Bongiovanni needs confronted because during my decades in the USN but especially during subsequent period after retirement with the VA, Naval Medical Center, California Ortho Institute, & other facilities, the physicians recognize & can validate my healthy lifestyle, about that I have been diligent maintaining my health despite adversity throughout a history of struggle overcoming abuse, negligence, & injury (although they were somehow influenced to suppress evidence & evade testimony) ... I hope that this can be ended & I can get representation for the recovery that I deserve along with holding the fraud & negligence accountable.

He takes care of my mom he is a very nice caring Dr.that cares about his patients.

excellent doctor, reconstructed my pelvis which shattered in more than 30 pieces. explained exactly every step and showed concern and compassion at all times. made me believe at all times that I was in the best care I could be in. staff excellent also.
