Wow, I am so pleased I chose this practice for my pregnancy. Not only are the Doctors knowledgeable and caring, the office staff are kind and caring. The nurses are so compassionate, every time I call, which is often, as I am a nervous wreck, since I had 2 previous miscarriages, they calm me down and reassure me that everything will be okay. I am in my 36th week and will definitely recommend this practice to all my friends

Dr. Campanella is a very good Gyno-Great bed side manner-professional and explains everything. I rarely get to see him-The P.A. IS just as great and professional and does not rush. Unfortunately, this office is by far the rudest health care facility I have ever come into contact with. The ladies at the front desk are incredibly rude& have no professional demeanor whatsoever. What a shame-since the medial/ health care services aspect is so great.Headache all around and aggravation from reception.

Dr. Campanella is absolutely wonderful- he delivered my daughter, and kept me extremely calm. He is extremely caring and kind, and stayed with me for a long time while I was in labor-he’s just fabulous!

Originally switched to Campanella from Herzog, because I found him very grounded, compassionate and without a sales pitch like Herzog. However, I am now pregnant in my second trimester and considering another doctor. The wait time is excruciating at 1.5 hr minimum every time I visit. The dr then spends 10-12 minutes with me, seeming disengaged and giving short answers to my questions. I could handle the wait if I received the service in return. Ultrasounds are quick checking vitals and moving on. Unsure if I keep catching him on a bad day, but he just doesn't seem to be the same dr used to see. Considering switching.

Excellent doctor. Want him to deliver all my children, he is so calm. Office staff was excellent, best staff I have ever encountered in a physician's office.

GREATEST DR

the only negative to say, which is huge in my opinion, is if he is in a rush, you and your birth are not his priority. he will do a C section so that he can leave. He does not check to ensure anesthesia is properly in place

dr Campanella is wonderful until he is in a sore mood desires to be elsewhere and is pressured by the nurses at rumc to do a c. Then all his ethics go out the window

By far the BEST OBGYN on Staten Island. He delivered my son, I am grateful to have him as my doctor.

I went to Dr. Campanella after not seeing a GYN doctor for many years. He sense my anxiety but with his caring demeanor, helped me through my exam and eventual D&C. He explained everything to me prior to my exam and made me feel comfortable and cared for. He is an excellent doctor and I would recommend highly him to my friends and family.
