A Fellowship trained orthopaedic spinal surgeon, with interest in the assessment and treatment of adult neck, mid back and lower back pain. Emphasis is placed on diagnosis first, then surgical treatment utilizing the most advanced minimally invasive techniques, including one and two level lumbar fusions with discharge from the hospital within 23 hours of admission and bone morphogenic protein to avoid the pain of bone graft wound pain.

He has did 2 surgeries on me neck and lower back. I trust him completely. He is caring and compassionate about his patients. I hear that he has left Norton’s I pray that he stays in Louisville I’m sure I will need him again and I would recommend him to anyone.

Was in pain for over 2yrs and pain was getting worst. Went to other doctors and no one helped. Finally found Dr. Casnelli and knew exactly what was wrong. Did surgery in June. Although it was a scarey I am so happy I did. Wish I had done it before now. He answered all my questions and believe I had a lot. During my office visits he spends time studying your chart, talking with you & examining. Great doctor.

2 surgeries,2 successes,caring,took time,stayed during recovery portion after surgery.Exceeded expectations,would recommend highly.

Dr. Casnellie has proven to be a excellent doctor. All the pain in my left leg is gone. My back is better. It certainly helps you have a better life

dr.Casnellie did surgery on my back i was not even able to walk now i can he done a great job

The Dr. who did my previous back surgery did L 2-3. I needed L 2-5. Dr. Cassnellie says, "If I am going to fix your back, I am going to FIX your back." Awesome. And the leg pain is relieved more than the back which is just what I needed.Thanx again.
