Husband and I are new patients of Dr. Chestnut. Three previous primary care physicians "retired" because of the demands and regulations on their regular practices. We decided enough was enough and have gone to MDVIP. We searched and found Dr. Chestnut and have been VERY pleased. He is very accessible and his staff is extremely accommodating. He calls promptly with test results...sometimes even the same day. In an emergency, we can be seen quickly. Janet has been very helpful. He and the MDVIP have been very thorough. Plus, he is very personable and ready to answer questions.

I would follow him, that’s how good a pcp he truly is. He has been my pcp for over 11 years, truly listens to me and talks to my specialists to make sure they are all agree with the plan. The first time I saw him almost 12 years ago, I believe, I had just found out my spouse had been cheating on me and I was devastated. We had just moved back in town 6 months prior, Dr. Chesnut sat and listened to me for over 45 minutes & never once looked at his clock or interrupted me. I felt so much better having someone listen and care, that I will never change pcp! And now with the mdvip my care is even better, I can text him that something feels wrong & next morning I can just walk in the office and get tests down without having to wait for an appointment. He is truly the best.

My husband and I have been patients of Dr. Chestnut for years. He and his staff are knowledgeable caring and professional.

Dr Chestnut has treated my husband for four years, he has always stayed on top of things. He is easy to talk to and thats a compliment now days.His nurse Dena has always got right back to us on the phone. They are wonderful.

Immature, unprofessional. Worst doctor in Louisville! Needs to consider a new career. This is not what he should be doing. Can NOT get an appointment.

NEVER see this guy. He does not care about his patients.
