My pinky was severely broken playing football. I played for the Sacared Heart Scorpions in the Al Blozis Football League in Jersey City, NJ & smashed my finger with my own helmet while making a tackle on a running back who was twisting & turning through the line of scrimmage. When I dove into him somehow my pinky got caught in his shoulder pad & I smashed into it with my helmet. I was in writhing pain. My finger came out looking like the letter Z. The emergegency room did the best they could & I stupidly played with it in a splint, damaging it even further & the pain in these instances would bring anyone to their knees. I lived for 34 years with this crooked finger that had no strength & wouldn't bend. Througout my life I would constanly bang in & be in pain. I read an Edition of NJ Monthly magazine & they rated Dr. Coyle as the #1 hand surgeon in NJ. This was approximately 2001 & I was a Jersey city Police Officer. I broke my finger for the umpteenth time while making an… arrest during a street robbery (mugging) that I witnessed while in undercover plain clothes. My finger turned completely blue from bleeding inside & oncve again the pain was tortureous. I made an appintment & Dr. Coyle operated on me, fixing the finger & tranferring a ligment from one part of my hand into the severely damaged finger. What Dr. Coyle did was a miracle. My finger may not be exactly as it was before I initially broke it, but it's 98% better. I no longer break it or bang it & have full movement. I can give no higher praise for anyone in any field than Dr. Coyle. If you need hand surgery...HE IS THE MAN!!!

Saw the Dr. for tennis elbow. He gave me a cortisone shot and I've not had any problem since. As a golfer, I'm not very fond of Canada geese either. The filth these animals leave is out of balance with man.
