Dr Cross ruined my life. He did not know what he was doing when he replaced my hip.

Dr. Cross gave me a new hip a couple of months ago and I couldn't be more pleased. His staff and PAs are terrific too. I highly recommend Dr. Cross. The Hospital for Special Surgery is a pleasure to deal with too. Their staff and nurses are wonderful.

Dr. Cross is an amazing surgeon. He is skilled, compassionate and truly cares about his patients. I had a total knee replacement this past summer and now I am having a total knee replacement on my other leg. So grateful to Dr. Cross and his entire staff! The best doctor!

Didn't bother to see me before I was discharged. Didn't show up for the 3 month check-up. Postponed one year check-up. All this could be overlooked if not for the fact that I have the same level of pain and poor activity level that I had before the knee replacement.

Excellent surgeon and Physician with a superlative bedside manner. I would give him ten (10) stars. Highly recommended.

I had knee replacement surgery with Dr Cross five weeks ago. My recovery is going extremely well. Dr. Cross is an excellent surgeon, a kind and thoughtful doctor and I will return for my other knee if/when needed.

I am a huge fan of Dr. Cross. I recently had my first surgery and was apprehensive. His aura of confidence and great bedside manner were very comforting to me. He took the time to explain my diagnosis and answer all my questions prior to surgery, visited me 2X during my short stay at HSS (best hospital in the world BTW) and again during my post-Op visit he took the time necessary to answer all my questions in an unhurried manner. Best of all, my surgery was a big success. I had almost no pain after the procedure and was back at work in 2 weeks!. Hard to imagine a better outcome!

I cannot recommend Dr. Cross (and HSS) highly enough. His replacement of both my knees two years ago is enabling me to remain spritely at 84 years of age. The quality of his care and character are worth traveling even much farther than from my home in Washington, DC. And that is consistent with my experience of other HSS specialists, including Dr. Kim (for my spine) and others many years ago (for my mother!).
