Dr. Elia and his staff Kristina and Anna have treated me for over a year. Very professional ,caring and easy to talk to.Answer all my questions without rushing me or acting annoyed.Dr. Elia explained everything to me about my surgery and recovery and the results are amazing. He is a great doctor and surgeon.

Absolutely no beside manner, doesn't look at you in the eye, spent less than ONE MINUTE with me and charges the insurance company a ridiculous, absurd amount of money. STAY AWAY - DON'T GO THERE.

Terrible experience, less than 3 minutes. Barely looked me in the eye. And said he had to leave in 5 minutes no bedside manner. Felt he was rushing.

Doctor Elia did an awesome job. I couldn't be happier with the results of my surgery.

He scoped my knee and I am so much better. He is smart and a good guy.

Good surgeon but,as with most surgeons, his bedside manner is sadly lacking. He didn't spend much time with me, didn't address my concerns for more than a minute and despite his accurate diagnosis gave me the old "bums rush" appointment.

Anna and Betty are the worse, they are incompetent and have the personality of a nail! The doctor spends absolutely no time with the patient, 2 minutes is a lot. Betty has no personality, no smile and is rude. Anna is abrupt and has no time to speak to patients or do her job. Get computerized!

I went to this doctor for a second opinion after being told I needed surgery . His bedside manner is atrocious. He first told me I didn't need surgery, quickly put me in a splint and told me to come back in a week. The time spent with me was ridiculous quick. I went back in a week and he tells me I need surgery and wanted to perform it the very next day. Really??? I was beyond upset. I decided to seek another surgeon and found Dr. Steven Beldner in Manhattan. After taking X-rays of my fracture, he couldn't understand why I was put in a splint instead of being scheduled for surgery. Dr. Beldner was extremely pleasant and very informative giving me every detail about the surgery. He answered every question I asked. He performed my surgery at Lennox Hill hospital in Manhattan. I am currently recovering and I feel I made the best decision possible going with Dr. Beldner.
