Dr. Michael James Fanning, MD

Dr. Fanning was concise but was not very friendly at all. He did not explain any of the procedures and shushed me while he was dictating in the room. Very unprofessional

I had an initial appointment with Dr. Fanning. He was an excellent choice for me. He was patient, very thorough, and an extended period of time. He had me listen to his report as dictated to my primary care provider. I appreciated his openness and excellent, friendly care.

When discussing my current medications, he corrected me on why I was taking a medication which was prescribed by a different doctor and completely UNRELATED to why I was seeing an allergist. I felt that it was completely unnecessary for him to comment on. He did answer all of the questions I had and tried to be personable.

If you or anyone you know gets autoimmune hives, this is your doctor. H saw him originally in 1987 and several times since due to autoimmune disease and hives....He is not one with the most overt personality, but he is brilliant and more than willing to share info. Even referred me to someone he "believed" he heard was taking new patients in our area for a genetic disease...and in fact, he was right...Excellent doctor....Highly recommend.

I would not every go back or refer anyone to this dr. I felt bedside manners were terrible and unprofessional.

I thought that labored breathing and coughing was just something tolerate. It's not!
