Dr Michael Gansaeuer, MD

When I explained my symptoms, he laughed. He insinuated that I was either crazy or lying. It was hurtful and humiliating. Even if I was experiencing mental health problems, I was still deserving of compassion, not ridicule. Because of the way he treated me, I didn’t feel comfortable returning to him and I felt too embarrassed to see another doctor for over a year. I have since been seen at Stanford and diagnosed with temporal lobe epilepsy.

Dr. Gansaeuer was did a thorough exam, asked many questions, listened carefully, and was excellent about explaining my condition and recommending follow-up tests. I couldn't have been more pleased with my experience as a patient.

Poor behavior, poor assessment skills , poor communication skills; Dr. Gansaeuer is a horrible physician. I would not recommend him, he should not practice medicine. "Poor"

Dr. G has a wonderful bedside manner. He is thoughtful and interested in what you have to say. He's a great collaborator and welcomes caregiver insight. My son has a TBI from a car accident and Dr. G has been a wonderful physician. We never feel rushed in our appointments. But do get to the office early.. He's a busy guy.

Asked questions and performed office tests to help determine problem. Provided clear information throughout when queried. Diagnosis not final, so didn't rate that question, nor the follow up, but looks good so far.

Arrogant,dismissive and had the bedside manner of someone who either didn't really care or didn't know how to.

Rushed and vague diagnosis. Very, very slow followup in scheduling almost left me a quadraplegic.
