Remember years past when doctors cared about their patients.Who took their practice seriously.I highly recommend Dr.Michael Paul Gimness.He is that type of Doctor.Superior listing skills,ask’s questions, very attentive.Office staff.Beyond friendly and courteous.I haven’t had any problems. This is one very well organized team, of professional’s,who care about their patients.

Dr. Gimness is my hero! I've been a regular patient for more than 10 years and I find him attentive, a good listener, and a medical problem solver, when he has all the facts. His office personnel have turned over a lot but he can't be a great doctor and also be aware of everything that is happening in the front office. The office people are very friendly and helpful now, and some of his longer-term employees understand and really "get it," when it comes to helping patients. There are plenty of docs closer to me, but I'll drive the extra miles to feel cared for and healthy under Dr. G's expertise.

Dr. G is the greatest Dr. that I've had in my life, but the HORRIBLE STAFF will bring his ratings down. Bring Mercedes Back! she knows how to run the whole staff. <3

I had dropped my previous doctor because of his staff's rudeness toward other patients and myself. Also due to the ridiculous wait times, even while having an appointment. I have none of these negative issues with Dr. Gimness's staff. He listens well, and is very professional yet personable. I am very satisfied with his abilities as a general practitioner.

Dr Gimness is without a doubt the best primary care doctor I have ever had. The wait time is a little long sometimes but his attention to detail and overall care of his patients is second to none. I consider him a very close part of our family and a great man.

I'm particular about physicians, and as after using his services in Winter Haven, it was a joy to find him again in Plant City. Worth the drive and his in-house pharmacy is more reasonably priced than my co-pay for mail order with my Medicare. His smiling office is a bit confused and disorganized but, New office manager seems to be getting a handle on that. A lot of front office employee turnover seems to have settled down with a good selection of office adequate staff. His nurses have always been cordial, professional and interested in the patient. Five stars for the medical care provided.

Dr. Gimness is by far one of the best doctors I've ever been to, I was a loyal patient for about 10 years but in the past 2 years his office has gone down. They newer staff is very rude, they have no appreciation for the patients - who are the reason they have a job! The organization of the office has gotten progressively worse, to the point of them scheduling appointments and then somehow loosing them, which was never their problem even if you have the card they gave you when they booked it, if your on any medications well its also not their problem if you run out because they lost your appointment on their schedule with no explanation. I'd like to think the doctor isn't aware of just how bad some of his staff is treating people but as it has only gone from bad to worse that doesn't seem possible. You can always count on being in the office for 2-5 hours, average is 3.5, but if you are 5 minutes late they will put you as a no show, make you reschedule, and charge you $100. It's sad… to see a this amazing and caring doctor loosing his credibility because of poor organization and rude staff.

I'm a nurse so deal with doctors all the time and it's rare to find a doctor that really shines and takes a genuine interest in their patients. I've never been to the same doctor more than twice as I'm just not usually impressed. But Dr. Gimness is by far the best doctor I've ever had, he is very thorough and takes the time to go through everything with you and will fight to get you to a better place. I couldn't be happier with Dr. Gimness, he's worth the drive from Lakeland!

Dr Gimness has been working hard to make me feel better. I have many health problems and he addresses all my concerns, never in a hurry, explains things and best of all listens to me like I matter!! I like him so much that he is now my daughter's Dr also!! Best Dr I have ever had and I am 60 yrs old!!

Dr. Gimness was my primary care doctor when he was located in Winter Haven, FL. My wife and I hated to see him move. He was thorough, caring, and easy to talk with. He took an interest in us as patients and people. He is sorely missed by us and many of his past Winter Haven patients.
